A Dog's Life by Speed Racer

Been a while

My mom has been so busy lately that she has not had much time to add to my diary.
She has been training me for a service dog. ( before mom got me she trained search and rescue dogs but she got ill so she had to quit) .

I love helping my mom. She has so many problems and she said you can help me since you are my companion. I know how to do so many things and one is when my mommie falls down sometimes I know that she might be hurt so I go to her and kiss her till she says " ok Racer sit" then I know she is fine. Then she will tell me to find her cell phone and bring it. I always do that for her because I love her. She also has me pick up things on the floor and put them in her hand. She has a hard time getting things off the floor sometimes. I also know when she has her funny breathing that I need to calm her down so I watch for that too.

I am her helper and I am now offically her Service Dog. I got my ID and a new vest with patches on it and I can go everywhere with my mom now to help her. I am so proud !

Of course she still lets me be a dog and go play at the dog park when she can. I love to run and need to run and she knows this so she will take me and when she is having good days we go for walks too. I always keep an eye on her and check in with her at the dog park . I get my running in and then I am all hers again ,yet I alway listen for:
