Nicknames: Heartbreaker! She is so instantly adored by everyone she meets that it breaks their hearts to see her go. Birthday: January 31st 2007 Likes: Presley LOVES puppies! Although she's never even had a litter of her own, she is the best puppy sitter ever. She also adores visitors to our home. Pet-Peeves: It breaks her heart to see house guests go. She watches out the window, whimpering. Favorite Toy: Puppies! Favorite Food: Feta cheese (5/14/11 - stolen from a Schlotzsky's Deli salad! hahaha!), all meat, most fruits (especially bananas), & most veggies. Favorite Walk: Sunset Valley Nature Trails. Best Tricks: Puppy sitting, tucking herself into bed, and having anyone wrapped around her paw in a matter of seconds. Arrival Story: Presley's breeder held on to her as a show prospect, with the possibility of offering her to a breeder out of the country. A series fortunate circumstances, including the breeder's decision to retire from breeding/showing Chihuahuas, led to Presley joining our pack. Lucky us! Bio: Presley is true to the breed in both attitude and conformation. She is very agile and loves the outdoors. She thrives on attention and tends to be pesky in her efforts to seek it, including by obsessively pawing and giving kisses. Forums Motto: Presley loves you! And you! And you! Rossi's puppy is 1 month old today. So it's my turn for puppy custody now, right? Rossi wont share, though! Even though we love each other SO much, we fight over the puppy. More cat fights, than puppy fights. Nopuppy is ever hurt, we mostly just see who could growl the biggest. But, Momma is overprotective and doesn't allow me to puppysit when she's away. Now that it's my turn with the puppy, I am not going to share with Rossi either! Or Mommma!
Yesterday, Mom dropped London and me off at Milo and Magpie's house while she and auntie Julie went to Houston. This was the very first sleepover for both of us but I've been to Milo and Magpie's house before so I assured London this would be lots of fun!
When we arrived, they already had blankets laid out for London (she can't walk on hard surfaces) and there were toys everywhere for us to play with. Best of all, we had the most wonderful host, Milo. Magpie stays upstairs so that we don't bother her.
After some fun games, Milo and I were all tuckered out so we snuggled into a bed to nap. London, as always, wasn't tired and wanted to play more. Finally, she settled in too and sweet boy Milo spent the night with us, instead of his usual spot in his parents' bed.
Click here to see our youtube video! We had so much fun that Mom was afraid we wouldn't want to go home. We can't wait for another sleepover or playdate at Milo and Magpie's house, that's for sure!
Mom decided to take some last minute holiday photos of us and a big Christmas tree outside of a shopping center was a perfect picture-ready place! After just a couple of minutes, I was terribly bored and refused to look at the camera. I was bouncing all over the place and wanted to play hide-and-seek inside the tree!
Just as I was settling down, we realized we were being watched and heard someone say "go get the camera from the car." It turns out a family liked Mom's idea and decided to take photos of their toddler using the same tree at the same time! We thought this was quite rude, especially since they were making crazy noises to get the toddler's attention.
With no chance of getting decent pictures now, we left for Pet Co to get some treats. Mom was sure when we returned for another try at holiday photos they would help me focus but by the time we got back, it was already too dark. The treats were good, though.
Mom ended up with more pictures of the tree than me but she did get one decent photo. Enjoy!
