"Momma, you spend way too much time on your computer!"
"Wall-eyed? Who you callin' wall-eyed?"
"MMMMMmmm...tastey!"
"Me? Spoiled? Naaaaaw!"
"Oh no, not that camera again!"
"I don't know WHY they call this sunny California. Since the day I was born, I haven't seen much sunshine. I think I will just cuddle under this blanket and suck my thumb until Spring arrives."
"Well, mom and dad taught me to drive today. It was a little harder than my usual tricks, and I had a hard time reaching the pedals. I wish I had thumbs to set the cruise control. Now dad can take a break from driving!"
"That dog just won't come outta there...even when I give her my toys! She sure is good looking though!"
Likes: Running, playing, chewing my toys, playing, treats, playing, and last but not least, PLAYING!!! Sophie's favorite saying is "WHOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!"
Pet-Peeves: I hate to go to bed at night...sleeping's for sissy's! One day when dad's not looking I am going to chew his stadium horn into little bitty pieces...that'll teach him for blowing that at me!
Favorite Toy: All my stuffed Boston buddies, fingers, shoes, shoe laces, dad's nose, anything and everything is a toy!
Favorite Food: Whatever mom or dad is eating at the moment, and HOT DOGS!! Oh, and ICE CREAM. But I don't get those often enough. *sniff
Favorite Walk: Never walk anywhere if you can RUN!
Best Tricks: Momma took me to puppy classes. I got the bestest trainer EVER. I can do all the usual stuff, sit, down, stay...junk like that...but I can also turn around, and back the other way. I know high five, and momma says give me 10 and I give her BOTH paws.
Arrival Story: Sophie came from a wonderful Boston breeder in Ceres, California. (Serenity K9 Ranch). We waited 8 long months for her, but she was totally worth the wait. We couldn't be happier with this little love bug. We considered a lot of different breeds, but she's a perfect fit into our family. She has the sweetest, funniest personality. Can you tell we love her to pieces? How can so much personality be inside such a small package?
Bio: My mama says I am the "cat's meow", I don't know what that means, but I'm thinking it can't be a GOOD thing...
The Groups I'm In: Artistic Expressions, Boston Terrier, Boston Terrier Bostons r Us, Cute Doggies and Kitties of The World!, San Francisco Bostons
Sophie's hangout: www.woofboard.com This place is for Bostons and Boston lovers. Momma is adicted to it and Dogster.
My newest trick!: I know how to ring a bell when I have to go outside. It's so cool...now I don't have to sit by the door until someone notices me...I ring it and someone always comes running. Hmmmm...this may be the start of something good!
I can't believe it's been almost a year since mom wrote a diary entry for me. I would have done it myself, but my lack of thumbs would have made it hard to read. Oh doggie whoas!
Today is my birthday, and I am hoping mom has yummie presents in store for me! Mama and Dad and me and my sister Clemmie are ALL Libra's...we should have a Libra celebration! Maybe a prime rib just for me! Mom doesn't even need to make me any mashed patooties! It's so cool cuz next month when it's Clemmie's birthday, I get to steal all her presents and eat all her treats! It's almost like having a birthday 2 months in a row! WOOOOHOOO!
Mom and dad went out last Saturday and when they came back, they had ANOTHER DOG with them. Hmmm! I met Clementine outside of the house...dad called it neutral ground, but I know even though it was outside, it was still MY ground. Anyway...she didn't smell too bad, but she sure makes a lot piggy noises. At first I thought she was mad at me, but I've gotten used to her sounds, and we play together all the time. I've even begun to snooze next to her. It's kinda nice having a sister!
..but I ain't gettin any taller! Momma says since I had my first birthday on the 26th of September, I'm not gonna grow anymore. That's funny cuz she keeps telling me that I am getting heavier and heavier. Now that I'm a big girl, dad decided to finally give in to mom, and let me sleep in THEIR bedroom last night, instead of in my crate in the family room. I think it was more because momma kept calling dad an ogre every night when she had to put me in my crate, and I'd look at her soooo sad and teary eyed. I'm so happy now because it's really lonely down there, even though the turtles are in the room with me. (I wish I could take them out of their tanks and play with them...they'd be such fun to toss around.) I was a good girl all night long because I want to be able to keep sleeping upstairs. Mom and dad both said I upset their routine. I hope they can take some medicine for that!
