Well mom goes back to work Monday. We arn't too happy about it. Now we'll be home alone all day again. It's been nice having her here to play, and feed, and just keep us company. But she says she's been out long enough... since November 20..... and she's starting to get bored.... what!!! Bored of us pups!!!! She's all healed now from the car accident, so I guess it's time. Well looking on the bright side.... she will bring us home treats more often (she works at a petstore)..... But looking on the bad side, we won't be on Dogster as much :( We've made so many wonerful pals here!! I know it's helped mom alot threw her recovery time. No matter what we'll always be around!!! We love it here!!!!!

I was named spokesdog of the week for the Dogvice.com- foodraiser!!!

I have been named one of the Spokesdogs of the week for the P*I*F Foodraiser for Dogvice.com!! I am so pugcited! Gigi asked to to represent pugs for P*I*F. This is a great way to help out our hungry furiends.
My week will be towards the end of April.

Dogvice Spokesdog of the Month
The "Dogvice Spokesdog" for the "food raiser" campaign running from February 1st to April 24th, 2009, isn't a celebrity dog, it's over 6,000 celebrity dogs! The PIF (Paw it Forward) group on Dogster.com is spearheading the campaign to raise 6,000 cards so that we can get 3 TONS of Nutrish food to homeless dogs. Each week, a different individual dog from the group is going to be a celebrity Spokesdog on all of the 4 sites collecting cards (Dogfessions, Dogvice, Pugfessions/Pugvice, and Bullyvice/Bullyfessions). P*I*F: Paw it Forward (a play on words of "paying it forward") is a group of animal lovers on the website Dogster.com who have committed themselves to helping others one step at a time and asking that the favor be repaid by paying it forward. The P*I*F pack is thankful that they can do their part in helping Dogvice.com in their FOOD raising effort to benefit homeless animals.


WHAT IS A DOGFESSION??

Dogfessions are "dog secrets" written or typed on 4x6 postcards or photos that people decorate (or help their dog decorate) and snail mail to Dogfessions for posting on this site. Why? It's fun, you can win prizes, and $1 for each Dogfession received goes to helping homeless dogs! Your dog may even appear in the next book, helping even more shelter animals.

WHAT IS A DOGVICE??

The Dogvice cards themselves are decorated 4x6 postcards (or anything that’s about the size of a postcard, such as a photo or paper that you trim to size) that includes advice from a dog, and then snail-mailed to the Dogvice mailbox. Why snail mail? We’re a low-tech operation here at Dogvice -- a girl, a laptop, and a mail box.

There’s a monthly contest where your dog can win stuff just for giving good (or bad or funny or strange) advice! Finally, every participating Dogvice card received goes to helping shelter dogs. The Dogvice site itself does not make money -- sponsors pledge money or products to help rescue dogs for each card received.

Dogvice can be practical, philosophical, funny, weird, or thoughtful. Dogvice should be meaningful (and sometimes frivolous) and come from a dog’s own experience. Dogvice comes directly from the DOGS.

Here’s what’s considered Dogvice:
Advice from your dog to dogs in general
Advice from your dog to humans in general
Advice from your dog to a specific dog
Advice from your dog to a specific human
Advice from your dog to the world at large
Advice from several dogs to whomever
Dog wisdom or insight from an individual dog (the dog “talking” from experience)
Smart, original, witty, and/or deep or inspirational quotes from DOGS, unique to the individual dog.

Send as many Dogvice cards per month as you like, and write your name and contact info on the back of each to be eligible for the contest. CARDS MUST BE CREATIVE AND ORIGINAL TO QUALIFY FOR THE CONTEST AND THE CHARITY CAMPAIGN. Your name and contact info will not be posted on the site, just your cards. It’s recommended that you put your Dogvice cards in an envelope to protect them, and you can put more than one in an envelope. Use paper, photos, and arts and crafts supplies -- anything you need to get creative. Help your dog with the scissors and glue stick please.

Yesterday was my 1st birthday!! It was great!! Mom made me a coffee cake!! She gave me my piece and I couldn't eat it fast enough!! I tried to swallow it whole! The piece she gave to Bean was a little too big.... He couldn't fit it all in his mouth, so Bandit stole it right out of his mouth!! It was so funny!! (mom gave Bean another piece) The cake was so yummy!! Mom said it's only for birthdays though.
For my present I got these dried banana chips wrapped in freezed dried chicken!! OMD!! Talk about yummy!!
All my furiends at Dogster gave me so many wonderful prezzies and wishes, too!! My pals at U.P.F. threw my a wonderful party with cakes and ice cream and so much glorious FOOD!!! There were mechanical bull rides and ball pits to play in. (They are extending the party today to!! Oh boy!! I can't wait!!) Everpaw really knows how to make a pup feel special! I wish it could be my birthday everyday!!

I found out today mommy can go back to work soon. She's been home since November and it's been GREAT!! She's always here to let us out and give me cookies. I can get a nice scratch or hug whenever I need it. But now thats going to end :( She says she needs money so she can buy my food.... I don't know though.... I guess it's ok. It's going to take me a long time to get used to her not being here anymore. I don't want to be home alone... well Bean and Bandit will be here but they don't count. :) She'll get to spend the day at work with all the doggies that come in for baths and haircuts.... That's not fair. I want to go too... But she says I can't, that I have to stay home. NOT FAIR!!!! I really wish she would stay home. She can give me baths.... I don't mind. I would say she could give me haircuts too, but I don't really have any hair:) And I don't have any money to give her :(
I'm glad she is better though. She got into a bad car accident in November. It was scary. But she is just about recovered. A few more tests and hopefully she is all done with doctors.
I do love my mom dearly and I am glad she is better........... But really what about me?????????

My birthday is coming!!

I am soooo excited!! My 1st birthday is coming!! It's Feb. 1st. This Sunday. I really want some ice cream or Frosty Paws (hint hint mommy!!). I DESERVE a BIG pawty..... with balloons and streamers... oh yeah and pawty hats!! I'm such a good puggie...
Mom why are you laughing?? She's laughing at me!! What did I do?? Anyway... I want a steak and maybe some gravy. Ooo, and a whole box of cookies to myself!!!
Hold on..... Why are you still laughing? It's my birthday, I should get what I want! Especially since it's my 1st one!! OHHHH... I get it. You are still mad about the coffee yesterday. Guess what mom?... I'm a pug and we do what we want!!
Ok, now back to me. I wonder what Bean and Bandit are going to get for me??
Maybe mom will take me to the pet store to pick out my own present! (she's laughing again) That would be wonderful. I could get a new chewie or stuffed thing that I can defluff! And some cookies. Maybe she'll buy me some cookies....

COFFEE!!!!!

Dear Diary....
I got in trouble today. I jumped up on the computer desk again when mom left the room. This time there was a wonderful cup of coffee up there! Hazelnut, with milk and sugar..... YUMMO!! Mom came back in.... Oh boy did she scream. I guess I kinda got coffee everwhere.... on the keyboard, the computer screen, some important papers, the speakers... WHAT?!?!? I LOVE COFFEE!!! Hey at least I didn't knock down the whole cup, I just slurped and licked and splashed untill all that wonderful coffee goodness was filling my mouth....
I know she keeps saying it's not good for puggies... but then why does it taste sooooo gooood??? I'm an addict... a coffee addict. Wherever there is coffee, so am I. I run to the kitchen when I smell someone making it... or when I smell it on someone's breath, I try to get in their mouth. I need help.

Bandit Turns 8!!

Girly Friend

I think I have a girlfriend!! She is a cutie! She loves to dance and wear cute little dresses!! I am nervous...never had one before.....I gave her a rose (my daddy gave some to my mommy once) I hope she likes it....I think it looked yummy, but mommy says you don't eat roses. I hope she will be my Valentine...I can give her more rosies and cookies.....
