Unlike most other dog owners, my postings will be in my personal viewpoint as opposed to the common dog viewpoints out there [they become confusing anyway!].

Willow, Grace, the bunnies and I moved back to Red Wing, MN for a few months in early July 2009. The lack of a dog park here is driving us ALL nuts as the dogs WANT run time and then take it out on the poor bunnies and drive me nuts, too! I only have a few friends with dogs here and none of them have fenced-in yards to let my furkids run and play, unfortunately! :-( I let them romp at Memorial Park (overlook) a few weeks ago and they played and ran like there was no tomorrow! The bad part, however, is that although Willow jumped right into the back of the SUV (with the hatch up) as I'd requested that she do but Grace almost leapt off the darn mountain playing keep-away! Willow's gotten much better (with age) in regards to listening and coming while off the leash, thankfully! Grace, on the otherhand, is a handful still AND the bribery of treats didn't help either!

There's the most BEAUTIFUL English Shepherd around here that looks like a big sheltie. Absolutely STUNNING dog, I love it! I wish I could run into them with my 2 furkids (or at least Willow, the "mature" one lol) to compare as I believe they're a breed with part collie, etc. mixed in there somewhere...

Maybe today, 8/11/09, I'll take the furkids for a walk into town since I've been meaning to do that for a while now but keep forgetting! I can also take some pictures of the little shops here since they're cutesy! Maybe we'll meet some furry friends, too! [Hopefully some with fenced back yards to drain all the dogs' energy levels!] -Suzie
