Arrival Story:
Rosie was one of 6 basset hounds rescued by Bluegrass Basset Rescue from a Pikeville KY puppy mill. She is small for a basset as she was bred too early and too often, and was malnourished until her rescue. But thanks to BBR she was healthy and happy when she came to my home! She loves to snooze away on the bed or couch, and she loves the sunlight - maybe because she spent the first 3 years of her life in a wire crate in a shed. Some of her most enjoyable activities are barking at squirrels in the trees in my backyard and going for walks.
