Favorite Food: Rosie will eat anything, but has a special love of meats and cheeses. Favorite Walk: Alongside the river on the greenway. Best Tricks: She is an expert with "the look", which commands me to get her a treat! Arrival Story: Rosie was one of 6 basset hounds rescued by Bluegrass Basset Rescue from a Pikeville KY puppy mill. She is small for a basset as she was bred too early and too often, and was malnourished until her rescue. But thanks to BBR she was healthy and happy when she came to my home! She loves to snooze away on the bed or couch, and she loves the sunlight - maybe because she spent the first 3 years of her life in a wire crate in a shed.
