can my cousin be my new sister?

Mommy and Daddy took me on a road trip to my old home today. I saw my furry mommy, daddy, and grandma too. I look just like grandma. I know I will be handsome like her. After looking at my living family tree my mommy and daddy took me to see all my cousins. They were so little compared to me. I am 5 months now and those little wiggly things were only 3 months. They were so loud and obnoxious. Then mommy picked one up and gave her to me. She has red poka dots like my blue ones. She is pretty cute. So cute, in fact, that mommy took her home with us. Now I have a new friend to spend my days with. Wait til the boys at the dog park hear about this. :)

A racoon stole my bone!

Mommy and Daddy took me camping two weekends ago. It went really bad. I saw a racoon on Saturday night. I was such a good dog and warned mommy and daddy. I barked and barked and scared it away. That night I left out my bone by the campfire. In the morning it was gone. Can you believe that? I looked everywhere for it.

Anyway, later Sunday morning I went for a bike ride with mommy and daddy. I was running so good with the bikes. Then, I darted in front of mommy's bike and she ran over me. I don't know what I was thinking. I was sore for almost a week. Serves me right. I will never do that again.

my first camping trip!

This weekend mommy and daddy took me to Lake Ray Roberts. I got to go swimming again and sleep outside in a tent. I love chewing on sleeping bags. They were so yummy! I can't believe I got to spend so much time off the leash. I was such a good boy and made sure I didn't run off. Mommy and Daddy were so happy with me. :) I played with Wubba by the camp sight and my tennis ball in the lake. I am so tired though. It will be an early bedtime for me. Sleep well my friends.

My first swim lesson!

Mommy and Daddy took me to the lake today. I don't think I've ever had so much fun in my whole life as I did today! Mommy and daddy were teaching me how to swim. They bought me a new toy and kept throwing it in the water. They threw it farther and farther until I couldn't touch the sand any more. She even got in the water with me when it was really deep. After we played in the water, I got to meet other doggies on the lake and roll in the dirt. Today was such a good day. I hope we do it again soon!

I must have done something bad to deserve this!

This morning I was so excited because I got to go on a car trip with mommy. She took me to this place with nice people that gave me treats. Then, it got weird. They started feeling me and stuck something up my butt. I tried to tell them I didn't like that but they just held me tighter. Next, they gave me some shots. That didn't bother me but you wouldn't believe what they did next. One woman picked me up and I was so happy because she kept loving on me. Then another kept trying to spray my nose with something. I yelled and cried and wiggled as hard as I could. It took them three tries then they gave up. After that mommy took me away from them. I don't think I like that place anymore. I'll think twice before going in mommy's car again. I must have done something really bad to deserve this!
