Beautiful Day...

I had a fun-filled day today!! It was soo warm and nice outside!!! I loved it! I played and trained with my master!! I also had a bath...Anyways, the other I went to the mountains!! I went and played in the creek! I wouldnt go to far out though. I also saw my mom and my brother!! I had soo much fun!! I can't wait to see them again!!!

Weave Poles!!!

Okay, me and my owner have officially started weave poles!!! I was sooo excited when I saw her move them together into a straight line!! She slanted them just like the WAM poles. She grabbed her treat bag and started to slowly weave me through. It is now day 2 of our trainig and I can already do them!!! I still need a little practice on not missing the 1st one...im always so ahead of myself mom tells me. She is sooooo proud of me!! We are so excited to be doing agility soon!!!

Charleston, SC

This past week me and my family went to the beach. We arrived the day before St. Patricks Day. The ride there was a 6hr. drive! WOW!!! I could barely stand it! When we got to our hotel, I stretched, then went into my kennel to get a good nights rest. The next day, there was a St. Patricks Day parade. I really liked it! There was music and dancing! Lots of people came and petted me too! Then we walked around the city. I got to see many new things. I even got to go on a carriage ride!! That was cool! I still dont know what to think about the big horses that pulled me around. Then we went to a park where I played a little bit. That nite I went into my kennel and had a peaceful, dreamless sleep. The next day wasnt as exciting. I didnt get to do much but walk around at a beach. That was interesting since I had never been to one before, but I still wished I couldve done more...oh well. Right now I laying at my owners feet, slowly dozing off, glad to be home.

Rain, Rain, and more Rain!

It has now been raining for the past 3 days!!! I feel like I have been locked up in a never ending cage! My owner has taken me out for a walk every morning though, but still...come on, Im a border collie! I went to the store and got to see basset hounds(I don't really like them, well not any dog truthfully), but that wasnt that exciting. I got lots of love and attention though, so that was good. I just wish I could get out and do agility(or frisbee...or ball)! Oh, but I can't believe it but we are going to the beach!!! I'm soooo excited because I have never been before!!! Yipee!!!

Rainy...

Yuck! Today is soooo rainy! I hate it when it rains because then my owner won't let me go out and play! If I do run out I get all nasty and then she will give me a...a...B-A-T-H!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!! Anyways, right now I'm just kinda wondering around the house trying to figure out what I should do next...I hear I am going to do an agility class soon! I can't wait to start!!! I LOVE IT!!! I have been introduced to almost everything. I haven't tried that big wobbly thing they call the teeter yet though. That looks kinda scary!!! Oh well...I guess I will just have to wait and see! La la la la...

b-day!

Today me & my owner celebrated my 1st b-day! Yay!!! I had a big cookie...yum!!!!! I then went outside and played with my familiy...I did some agility! Right now I'm kinda pooped...ahhhh. My b-day has been great and I hope to have many, many more!!!

nice weather!

There has been some nice weather here where I live lately! My owner just took me out twice for about 45min! I love nice weather. I can't wait till spring gets here! Agility and playing outside! Yipee! Oh, and there is some bad news...someone stole my tunnel!!!! That was my fave too! Oh well...guess my owner will have to buy me another one...

First Snow!!!!

It's my first snow! I went out to go potty this morning and there was white, cold stuff in the ground! I was amazed! "What is this stuff?" I asked myself. Then I started sniffing around...my owner called me, but I was too interested in the snow. Finally I heard the noise "Ivy!!" louder than before and I decided it was probably a good time to go to her. I lifted my nose from the ground and saw my master jumping, waving her arms in the air, and calling my name. I sprinted as fast as I could and nearly knocked her down. It was much warmer inside, but I wanted to get out and explore the newly snow-covered ground. I went over to everyone in my family and then decided to lay down. "Ivy!",I heard the voice of my owner loud and clear. I got up and sprang towards her. She was standing with a heavenly tasting treat in her hands, cheese. I LOVE CHEESE!!! I immediatly sat. I sat, spun, layed down, upped, and played the recall game(still working on that, but I am getting better). Tonight, I am going to a cgc class. I work in commands like: stay, sit, come, heel(a really hard one for me), being nice to other dogs( another hard one because I try to herd them), and other things like that. I have to use mozerella cheese whiz on a spoon for heeling and a prong collor along with that. I don't like the collar too much, but I love the cheese! I hope I can make my owner happy tonight!!! :)

bored...

I am sooo bored when it's been raining outside for like a week now...that means I have to stay inside. Blach! All I want to do is play ball but, no, I have to stay inside where I can't get all wet! Huh! I don't care about getting wet! Oh well...I obey my master and that is what she wants soo...inside it is. I like to play with stuffed animals... sometimes I rip all the stuffing out of them. My owner then has to pick it all up and throw it away. Hehehe!! She tries not to let me do it, but sometimes she's to late. I have already torn that fluffy white stuff out of that poor hopeless animal! Hahaha! One night I tore up my brand new bed inside my kennel. My owner wasn't to happy about that...now she knows better and puts blankets in there. Some nights she lets me sleep in her bed. I like that. I love to snuggle up to her and lick her to death. She loves me...I just know it!!!!
