Forums Motto: Hop like a bunny! But don't eat like one
Mom and dad had a surprise for me today :o)
They told me that we'd go to Golden Gate Park - but we didn't! We went across the bridge to hang out at my favorite spots in the East Bay.
First we went to one of my favorite parks and dad went swimming with me :o) That was fabulous. Jolanda found a dog to play with and they were equally annoying.. Good for them. I in the mean time had my peace and quiet with dad. Mom and the owner of Jolanda's strange new friend talked for a long time and he told her really cool stuff about the history of the park. He is a Berkeley native :o)
Mom misses living in Berkeley. I grew up there and it was fabulous.
After our pretty cool workout, we went to Target real quick and then ended up on 4th Street. One of my favorite Streets. It is very doggie friendly and therefore many people bring their dogs.
The street is beautifully decorated and people are in the holiday shopping mood. This is a good time of year we find. We went to check out the adoption events and visited "our" dog store GEORGE As always, we got loads of treats. We gave them smiles, showed them tricks and begged like it was the last thing on earth for us to do. As you might have figured, we all had a day off :o) We all needed it. It's been a lot.
We also went to another one of our favorite places BETTE'S to have some food. We hung out in the sun on the sidewalk. We did some counting, because mom and dad took forever. Within 2 hours 47+ dogs walked by, 14 different wheelchairs, 6 children who snuggled us and 3 dogs that barked at us, 2 nice SDs, and not to forget the countless pedestrians that walked passed us.
People were in a really happy mood, which felt good and was really relaxing.
Then we went to get two simple chain collars and food. Mom does not use the chains as collar-collars, but instead we wear them like necklaces with our tags on. Mom likes for us to have something around our necks when we swim in the water. Mom and dad are tired of buying us new collars all the time. The chains are really helpful. Mom and dad used to do this with all their dogs and we are cool with it.
We are back home now and are hanging out on the couch.
Please check the album for your picture.

Bonzer's mom introduced my mom to the world of picture making :o))
What does that mean? Oh well.. Whenever she finds a free minute, she will make a picture of one of her pals. Look
Please, if you would like one, for whatever occasion, for yourself or a pal of yours, let me know and I will tell mom..
Have fun checking them out. It was fun making them and giving them away.
