Whole lotta visiting going on

I have been a busy girl the past two days. Mom, Grandma, Echo and I visited with Betty on Tuesday evening. She's a lady from mom's church that had a recent surgery. I visited with her before and she loves us dogs. Her granddaughter has a little yipper dog who barks like crazy when we're there. I just ignore her though. It was nice to visit with Betty. I was on my best behavior:) From Betty's we went to Manor Care. We got there a little later than usual, but most of the people were still awake. In fact, we visited many of our regulars in the activities room where they were playing Bingo. I wish they would have let me play! We continued our visit to the rooms of the people who didn't play. Our friend Joe was already in bed, but not asleep. They put him to bed early again and he was none to happy. At least he was awake and did get to see us.

Last night Mom, Dad, Echo and I went to Country Meadows. It was raining so hard and we got pretty wet going from the car to the home. Mom said it's time for baths because when we're wet, we now smell like "wet dogs". Dah mom, maybe cause where are "wet dogs"???? We visited with a lot of people again, but dad wasn't too happy with me cause I wasn't paying attention and I wouldn't heal for him. Sorry dad, I'm just not use to dad being with us and wanted mom. But I will admit, once I settled down, I liked having dad along:) We did receive some sad news last night... our friend Gloria passed away about two weeks ago. She was a really nice lady and she always enjoyed seeing us. I love to go cheer people up, but it's always sad when we lose someone:'(

Mom said we're chilling tonight cause she needs a break. I still don't know what's going on this weekend. Alison said us dogs can come down with mom and dad, but we have to stay in the basement. It's heated, but we really wouldn't get to do much since we can't go in the house area and it'll be too cold to play outside. See Jan (Ali's husband) had a bad experience with a dog when he was young and now he's really afraid of them. We're hoping that being around us for a while and seeing that we wno't hurt him will help him get over that. Mom said her and dad just might go down for the day and come home late instead of staying overnight. That way we'll only be home about 14 hours or so and nanny and poppy Waple will let us out a few times while they're gone. So if we do go, I'll let you know how it went.

Well, I think I'm going to take a nap, or at least try. This wind is blowing so hard that I think the house might blow away!
