Prayers for Oklahoma!

Today has been a very devastating day for the people of Moore Oklahoma and South Oklahoma City. Much loss of life, homes and business. We live in Yukon Oklahoma and so far have been very lucky. May 3, 1999 was the worst tornado ever reported in Oklahoma history and this one is going to far exceed it. We ask that all of our furiends and their pawrents stop for just a moment and say a prayer for Oklahoma. God Bless Oklahoma!

A Tribute to my boypup Cash. Fly free sweet angel boy.

Let me start my story. I have been on this Dogster thingy since 2008. Through my brother, Harley Davidson we were lucky to meet another schnauzer in Iowa by the name of Sebastian. Well our mom's became friends and Harley even got to go visit them in Iowa and their mom came to visit us in Oklahoma. Sebastian had a big brother, a Vizsla Cash and we decided to become boypup and girlpup. He was a true gentleman through and through and we sure enjoyed this long distance romance for 5 years. Tonight my mom got the call that Cash went to the Bridge this morning. He was 13 years old and had the most magnificent life a dog could ever wish for. My GSP heart is broken but I know that my Cashey boy will be watching over me every single day. To his pawrents we send much love and prayers because we know how greatly he will be missed. Know we have you in our prayers and close to our hearts. Fly free my Cash boy!

My Birthday was Most Wonderful!

I think my 8th Birthday was the bestest yet! My boypup Cash sent me two boxes of cookies from the Three Dog Bakery! YUMMY! Mom got me a birthday cake made with peanut butter, 2 mini cuppycakes and 2 puppy kisses. HD and I had my pawty yesterday afternoon and we made pigs of ourselves. Mom and HD got me 3 new tennis balls, dried chicken treats and a new antler too. I want to thank Austin and Doo for the neat birthday card they sent me from Texas. Also I have a long list of thank you's from all of my pals that sent pmails, emails, rosettes and cards. Here goes my list:

For Sale - 1 Used Mother!

Well our skin sister bought a new home and mom went up there to help over EASTER WEEKEND! Hello there? What is terribly wrong with this picture I ask?????? Well on the bright side of this whole weekend, Bev took care of us and she plays lots and lots of ball with me! She also takes lots of pictures and sends them to mom. Well we didn't get to go egg hunting, bunny hunting, no hunting at all, so Harley D and I are selling mom real cheep! Any takers out there?

Harley Davidson and I want to thank all of our friends who sent us wonderful Easter egg pressies. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and sorry that "our mother" was not here to send them to all of you. Sending Easter hugs to all of you from both of us.

Happy New Year

Well, mom, Harley Davidson and of course me, Sophie Claire are sitting here on the sofa enjoying the last evening of this year. First of all, we want to thank everyone and their awesome pawrents for your friendship, love, support and laughs throughout this year. Harley had quite a great year with his therapy dog visits and mom and I are quite proud of him. This little guy gives so much of himself every time he visits the hospitals and schools. I have been doing very well and mom was proud of me this Christmas with our company as I was very well behaved. We hope that 2012 is a good year for everyone!

Tales from a GSP - My 7th Birthday!

I awakened Tuesday morning with a big ol' kiss from momma and she sang Happy Birthday to me in bed. HD and I got up, went outside for privacy please then hurried inside for breakfast. In our kibble we got some banana, a strawberry and a few blueberries. YUMMY! Next I opened a big box that came from Iowa. I sniffed and sniffed as mom helped open it and there was this HUGE dog biscuit dipped in chocolate wif my name on it and a box of chocolate sandwich cream cookies from my boypup, Cash and his brudder Sabastian. Thank dog, momma didn't make me wear one of those dumb birfday hats this year for my pawty. BOL. HD and momma got me a new tennis ball, antler and a trachea. What a load of goodies I received. Woohooo. Well my goodness, starting early that morning and late into the night I received 51 Birthday Wishes from all of my WONDERFUL PALS HERE ON DOGSTER! I cannot thank all of you enough as I was totally overwhelmed. I am so very, very thankful for the wonderful furiendships I have made here on this ol' thingy called Dogster. To each and everyone of you I send a big smoochie and hug.

The Spa

OK, so mom left Harley Davidson and yours truly at the "spa" for 4 days as she had to go out of town. Well first of all, we both love going to the "spa"! Mom requested that I have a bath and a pedicure on Monday before she picked us up. I looked so beautiful with a pink ribbon on my collar and I smelled delicious too! Well, Peggy goes back to get us and when she comes around the corner and we see mom I kinda got out of my collar. Well, since there were so many people and furs in the waiting room I decided to go to each and everyone of them and say HI! Mom finally got a good hold on me, got my collar on me (Peggy didn't hook it to the Martingale part and thats why I got loose)and hooked me to my leash. I waved by to everyfur and headed for the car. Now that was a good time!

Nurse Sophie Claire!

Well at 3:30 this morning momma woke up sick! She went to the privacy please room and of course I went with her. Unfortunatley we made quite a few trips and then momma got a bad case of the shivers. Well, nurse Sophie Claire to the rescue. I immediately got under the covers to keep momma warm. We got up and finally made it to the living room and into the recliner. I stayed on momma's lap the whole day to make sure that she stayed warm. I am happy to report that she kept dry toast down this evening but, I am on duty to make sure that she stays warm throughout the evening. A GSP's work is never done.
