It has been a while since I share happenings with everypup, as mommy is quite busy at work and gets occupied by my 2 and 1/2 years old non-fur brother after work... so she hardly have time to help us greet everypup now a day.
Here are some quick update to share with my pals.
Yes, I have successfully lost about 2 pounds over last one and half months :-) I was on special prescription diet. Mommy was so happy that I lose weight, but she was too sure if it is because of the food or the fact that I just dislike to food. But, it is good that I'm lighter now. So, I can do some casual running with my non-fur brother (ha, two of us are equally slow!).
As I really dislike prescription diet and have developed some skin allergy recently, so Mommy has decided to put me on Solid Gold Holistic formula and Wellness Core reduced fat formula. She is wondering if any pup has had these formulae? Ever since I tried Solid Gold and, boy, it kind of 'detox' me! I poop so much, but my energy level is so much better. But the protein level on this formula is only 18%, so mommy is worried if I don;t get enough protein. That's why she is gonna alternate my food between the two brands, as Wellness Core has higher protein.
By the way, daddy just yelled at me! because I poop a lot and he just can't believ that he has to clean up AGAIN! BOL!
That's that conversation between mom and the nurse at the vet's clinic when we walkwd in to clinic... Yup, my mom brought me to vet for this very reason!
Recently, mom broght me out for walk and a neighborhood girl saw me... She asked her mommy "Momma, how come that dog is so fat?" Her words hurt my mom's heart and she thinks I may have some health issue, so she decided to take me to the vet.
When I got on the scale, the nurse just could not believe her eyes - It's 25 pounds. OMG, I have 'successfully' gained another 5 pounds since August. The top view of my body looks exactly like the obese dog top-view picture on the wall.
The vet came out and screamed "OMG, Milo... What happened?" Mom was so sad and said to her "He is eating very minimum... and we try to run him everyday, but he just refuses to run. He walks. Is he ok? Is he having thyroid problem?" So the vet examine me and everything seems ok. She told mom that she doesn't really think I have thyriod problem, but she said we can only be sure by doing a blood test. "The bottom line is that Milo has to lose weight! He looks like a table top now..."
So, the vet put me on a prescription diet and hope that I lose weight gradually.
Let's see how the diet work...

Me and Maruko wanna wish all our pals and families a very happy thanksgiving.
Mom & our non-fur brother has been away to visit grandma for aout 10th days. They will be back this weekend. That's why we haven't been very activeon dogster recently.
We'll woof mommy to give everypup an update and catch up with all happenings once she is back.
