ZaK had not been well and I had expected a decline for the past 2 weeks.

He was doing his ol' Zak routine until Saturday and I was consumed by this.

Our Zak went into respiratory failure about 8 PM last nite and we rushed him to the Veterinary ER.

The sole way they could stabilize him was on 100% O2.

As we Michael & I held him close, the Veterinarian him the injection.

He peacefully left us at 10:30 PM.

He had much to enjoy on his final day. In addition to a grooming & he chewed a Raw Meaty beef bone, spaghetti, dog bones, milk and coffee. All are his favorites.

He was a good friend to all as his heart was as big as he was.
