Dottie I could be the love of your life!
Be my valentine!
I’m a chick dog magnet…. chicks dig me! Look at me I am adorable!
Ok, as a Corgi I would be shorter than you, but what I lack in height I make up for in my charming, handsome “doganality” and really white teeth. We could be like that famous couple Sonny and Cher. She was much taller then him. Wait a minute…they ended in divorce. Ok, ok, bad example, but as dogs we “live in the now” anyway. So, lets love in the now baby!
I was found abandoned on the streets, and taken to the dog pound. While I was there I got really sick, but a Corgi rescue group came and rescued me. Because I was so sick they took me to a vet and the vet told them I had parvo and because I was so young I probably would die. I spent a week in the dog hospital fighting for my life…amazingly I survived!
Almost four months later, this human adopted me. This human drove five hours to California to pick me up. Can you blame her, like I said I’m a chick magnet!
Believe it or not my doggy darling, I wasn’t always this confident. I was a very fearful, insecure, unhappy and unbalanced Corgi. But there was something about the energy of this new human…calm, but yet assertive at the same time.
This human had read Cesar books and watched his TV program, and from day one of our relationship followed Cesar formula of exercise, discipline and affection. This human became my packleader.
Because of Cesar your packleader Dottie, I am becoming a happy, healthy, balance dog.
By becoming your valentine and the love of your life my darling Dottie, I would also be helping my packleader with her campaign for spay and neutering.
Let me explain…. Several months ago my packleader found out that the county animal shelter here takes in over 3,000 dogs and cats every year. Out of the 3,000 the shelter EUTHANIZES close to 1,800. Those numbers of senseless deaths horrified my packleader, and she knew she had to do something. My packleader became a volunteer with an organization called S.N.A.P.S. (Spaying- Neutering All Pets & Strays) here in town. It is a non-profit group that offers low cost spay and neutering for dogs and cats. SNAPS also raise money to pay for spay and neutering for those humans that cannot afford to pay for the surgery.
My packleader and the woman who founded SNAPS are a team of only two who are working towards their goal of having 100 dogs and cats spayed and neutered each month!
Think about it my darling Dottie, what a difference that would make!
I look forward to us sipping “barktini’s” and howling at the moonlight my beautiful Dottie…Please be my valentine!
