Arrival Story:
I got Shadow as a puppy she came home and stole my heart, she was breed at 2 yrs and had a family of 11 (9 girls and 2 boys) it took 56 hours, when she was done she had her very own a big steak she ate it all my herself. She loved her babies she was such a lady, I kept 2 of her daughters (now 8 years old)McEars and Little Bit, Little Bit and Shadow were always together, Shadow was Bit's pillow all her years with her mom, I lost Shadow July 6,2004 and lost my heart when I lost her. I believe it was her heart that gave out,she passed away at home 1 month before her 10 birthday.Bit and I are lost with out her. She was my baby and always will be.
Shadow was creamated and is home with me her Urn is on my end table next to where I sit. I miss her more than anyone will ever know. There are still bad days and how I sit and wish I could just have Shadow back for just awhile longer.
Bio:
Shadow's 2 daughter are still here they are 8 years old , McEars and Little Bit, and we have a new baby she came to us at 5 weeks old a weimaraner (of course) I have named her Echo. She's a smart, fun and a very out spoken pup now 4 months old. I forgot the puppy ways but she is reminding me everyday, and it's helped me to cope with my loss. She's a pretty girl, that her Aunts McEars and L'Bit are trying hard to deal with her crazy puppy ways as they rest a lot, Echo's none stop. She's growing on all of us, a real cutie who follows me all around, she'll never be my Shadow but she is an Echo..... my Echo.
There's still another new baby in our house, on Nov.17,04 we brought home Echo's sister she's a Honey, and I think that maybe her name.
UPDATE: LittleBit was rush into emergency surgery 3/28/05 @4:32 PM she was diagnosed with an "OPEN Pyometra" the surgery took 2 hours, she is doing fine and should be home Friday.
Bit came home Friday she has to go back to have her stitches removed in 10 days, we had a pizza party for her, she had the 2 biggest pieces, Beggin Strips too !
It's good to have Little Bit home

My baby girl it's 6 years today that I lost you, I miss you so very much everyday as I speak your name somehow everyday in conversation, it feels as if it was yesterday you left.
I pray your happy & playing at the Rainbow Bridge with all your babies who are also gone other than Baloo who is old & sick but hanging on.
I'll love you special for all my days till we're together again.
