Well I've gotten a lot bigger lately. Some good and bad things have happened.
One funny thing is that on thanksgiving everyone was sitting on the couch after dinner watching James Bond and eating Pecan pie. Well I wanted to sit on the couch too -so up I jumped on me Mum.
And that's when Mum shrieked and then said "she sat on my pie!"
And I had - I had whipped cream all over me bum and thigh. Mum was worried there wasn't anymore pie, but there was of course.
Beaver glared at me a lot because she told me that she was the Pie Puppy in the house. But what can you do.
Also, a scary thing that happened the other day is I was outside playing in the snow with Mummy when a car drove by. I ran over to it, but snow is slippery and I couldn't' stop. Instead of the car hitting me, I kind of hit the car. But it was still scary and I did hurt my leg. After that I was scared to go outside at all. Until Anne and Sarah and Pat came over to cook some cookies for Christmas. I was pretty happy to see them. And even though I was still sore I got lots of love and attention from them - enough that I wasn't afraid to go outside anymore.
And speaking of Christmas, that's tomorrow. I don't really know what it is, though Yvie has tried to explain it.
I guess I'll have to be patient and wait and see.
Cheers!

Hi all,
It's been a bit since I've updated the diary. I've gotten a lot bigger, and sometimes my legs don't seem to work the way I want them too. The family calls me klutzy and floppy, and embarrassingly enough the other day I ran into a parked car! (the wanker just snuck up on me).
I've started puppy class - we've only had one so far, but there were two lab puppies, a berner, and a doodle. We're all girls except for the doodle, who growled at his little girl when they tried to stop him from choking on a rawhide.
I like to bark (frequently and loudly) at other dogs, so I'm sure that's something that we're going to work on in puppy class.
I try to get Yvie to play with me on a regular basis, but usually she just snarls at me when i'm in her face. I try to avoid George at all costs, especially if he's looking at me, but I have hopes that one day we'll be civil to each other, if not friends.
I'll try to get some new pics updated soon so you can see how big I've gotten. Everyone keeps saying I'm going to be a big girl when I'm done growing, but only time will tell.
Cheers!

Sarah and Anne gave my Mom a new toy for me, since it was a toy that George and Yvie never fancied. They were talking about how i never nap and i just have all this energy to burn off when Sarah mentioned that maybe i'm bored and need more mental stimulation. So she gifted Mom this wicked toy - a treat dispensing ball!
How it works is Mom fills up this ball with treats (kibble) and there's a mzae inside the ball, so as i push it around, kibble magically falls out for me to gobble up!
Isn't that just keen?
Anyway i love it lots. Everyone says i'm getting bigger and am "floppy" - whatever that means.
I'd ask them to post new pictures of me, but Sarah's camera is broken or some such thing. So you'll have to wait.
Cheers!

So Mom takes me on walks sometimes - we meet people, work on SOCIALIZATION, whatever that is and LEASH SKILLS.
People tend to say things like "Is that a puppy?" Mom says yes. "What kind of dog is it?" She's an Old English Sheepdog. "Oh My Gosh! Do you know how big she's going to get?! She's going to be up to your chest!"
Mom stares at those people, smiles and walks away in general MN fashion. Then, when they're gone she talks to me.
"Of course i know how big you're going to get - i know what kind of dog you are." And she's right - how many strangers say that to a person with a puppy and the puppy person replies "oh my gosh i had NO IDEA i had bought a great dane! Huge you say? Crikey i'd better return this pup right away! Toodles"
No one, that's who.
"And also, Penny Loafer" Mom continues - "How big do people think Sheepies are?"
We certainly don't get monstrously huge - i wouldn't even say very large - we're talking about Labrador size, with a lot a fur - and if we're shaved, we're not even as bulky as a lab.
I've come to learn that some people just aren't on the same level as my family.
Ah well - tish tosh.
Still trying to win George and Yvie's affection - not going great - but i seem to have won over Anne and Sarah and Pat.
Cheers!

Well so far things have been good. I love my new Mommy and Daddy and family. They cuddle me and play with me and take me outside. They say i've been doing really good with potty training, only one accident so far!
They say i need to work on my confidence, but things just scare me sometimes so i hide behind Mommy. Also my teeth hurt a lot so sometimes i cry.
I met George and Yvie. Yvie is ok, but George is some sort of monster - now i have to hide every time i see him. Yvie says it will get better. I hope she's right.
Cheers!
Penny.

Well, today is the biggest day of my entire life - today i leave my mommy and my brother's and sisters and begin a new life with a new mom and new family members!
What awaits me? I don't know.
Will the journey be hard? Most likely.
Will it be worth it in the end? So i have been told.
Wish me luck!
Cheers,
Penny

Hello everyone!
I have been told that my name is Penny Lane, or Penny if you please.
I have also been told that i will be going to a new home in less than one week - it may be tough because i'll have to leave my mom and brothers and sisters, but it will be an adventure and i've heard that only good things are to come!
Cheers!
