Fun Day!

Sophie had a great day today. She is focusing more on me when we are on the agility course. She is starting to learn the no sniff command when she goes to ground. Sophie is now capable of focusing on me at home on our course when another dog is around. She has a very beautiful jump arc as the teacher says. I am very proud of her progress. With my super little dog anything is possible.

Training

Sophie has come along way in the last few weeks. When we first started the Begginner obedience class I was worried. She has a real probelm with alarm barking. Thanks to the people at MOTC our lives are getting better!

Howlacious Sunday!

Sophie sang to her Mom today as she departed our home. The howling lasted 20 minutes as I sang with her. Sophie has been a wonderful dog lately. She now runs two miles a day the treadmill.

Sophie is doing very well on her agility training. I have built numerous single bar jumps, a tire jump, teeter, dog walk and a tunnel. Sophie jumps through the single bar jumps and the tire jump on command. Today she went through the tunnel on command. I was so very proud of her. She will need to work harder on the weave poles, teeter and dog walk.

Sophie has the barking problem as all Schnauzers do. She often goes to the windows and barks at the kids playing outdoors. This afternoon I heard a terrible crash followed by some extreme barking. I rushed from the shower to see what the problem was. I standing in the living room naked watching my dog chasing a fly. She was on the window cell doing one hell of a two step. I was laughing so hard I almost missed the her flying leap of the window sill to catch that fly.
