New Sister!

A few weeks ago my playpal Erin kept showing me pictures of these funny little dogs with these gigantic ears, short legs, and little tail! They looked so funny! I just sniffed them and walked away... but then last Friday she actually came home with one! I looked at Dad in confusion... what was this thing? At first I thought she would only stay with us for a day but boy was I wrong! She's my little sister! I don't really know what to do with her... I mean I liked being the only dog! At least I get tons of treats, showered with praise, and more walks than usual (at least 3 a day! heehee!!) I just want to be sweet with her... after all she's just a little baby... and a girl! But she comes and bites my tail and since she's so short she stands underneath me and bites my legs! I just look up at my family and smile... (I know I'm such a good baby-sitter!) She can be bothersome sometimes though... I usually let her steal my toys and walk all over me but my playpal (and Winnie's "mom") tells me I should let her know their my toys... I'm too nice for that though! I suppose I could get used to this... I don't know! I miss being the only dog!

Lake Fun!

We got to go to the lake again this weekend! I absolutely love boat rides and I got to do all sorts of stuff! First I went cruising around on the boat and watched the girls go kayaking. Then when I got back I had my life jacket put on and went kayaking myself! Everyone thinks it's so cute seeing me in the front of the kayak scouting out obstacles! The lake was flooded and so there was a "No Wake Zone" for the entire lake! We went out on the motor boat again and I got to do something really fun! I like laying on the inner tube but have never gone with the boat pulling it. Well this time one of the girls put me on it and we went really slow on the lake! We could do this because all the boats had to drive really slow and there were no waves. I had my life jacket on just in case though... It was so much fun! I don't think many people have seen a dog tubing though... I was the coolest dog out there!
