Swim Lessons!

We went to the lake this weekend and I got to swim! I went right up to the water and licked it at first. I pawed at it a little and then in I went! I didn't want to go out to far so I just stayed towards the shore. When I was done I rolled around in the sand and grunted like a little pig. It's so much fun being wet and SANDY! Mom didn't like it too much though... She tried to spray me with the hose and I didn't like that one bit!! I practiced some more today and hope I'll get to be a really good swimmer!

Living up to Expectations

Well I said I would make up for behaving yesterday and I sure have! First off mommy thinks I've grown bigger overnight! She's sad because she wants me to stay puppy size for awhile. I must have gotten stronger though because today I ran under a table and made the lamp fall off! It shattered all over the floor! I felt kinda bad and went under my chair and put my head on mommy's feet to say I was sorry. Oh and guess what? I might get to be an advertising dog for the family's new business! Everyone will want to buy something with my cute face on it! ;P!

First Vet Visit

Today was my first visit to the vet. I was an absolute angel in the car unlike my big brother! We went to a farm with lots of pretty horsies and then went into a little building. Mommy pup me on a cold, metal table but I behaved very well! Then this big man came and yanked at my ears, nose, teeth, and everywhere else! I just stood there and had a "What does he think he's doing?" look in my eyes. I can be very sarcastic sometimes! Then he took a needle and poked me with it! I was sleepy and so just yawned in surprise then smiled big at mommy. I'm such a good little patient! I should I have gotten a sticker... Then he put a microchip in me so if I got lost mommy could find me again! It hurt real bad though and I yelped. That was all VERY tiring and I have been sleeping all day! Mommy's kinda glad about that though because I have been a little rascal lately! I'll make sure I make up for all that lost time of being naughty tomorrow though! I can't ruin my reputation as "The Terror of the High Seas" now can I?
