Vet visit

I had my 6 month senior wellness exam and it went well. My bloodwork was good and my kidney values where only a little high, so it seems my kidney disease is being kept in check. I am aldo doing well after the loss of Bingo. I never even seemed to look for him. Mom and dad think I might thave known he was sick and so I was not suprised when he was gone. We were a cute doggie couple though and mom and dad are sad for me to loose my best friend, just look at the cute picture of us on my page.

Happy Howl O Days

I had a birthday recently (monkey themed since Im a monkey dog) with pink cake (12 years old) and a pink collar and treats. Now for Christmas I got a new pink sweater (and more treats) No toys since I donk like' em. Im an old grouch

12 years old

Im twelve now and this marks my second birthday in my forever home. Mom has got me some nice gifts but she is saving them for my party. Hopefully that will be this weekend, but some stuff hasnt arrived yet. If it doesnt get here we will have to delay until next weekend Phooey! I am very excited about the potential for tripe. Mom doesnt usually have tripe in the house because my bulldog brother Bob gets too excited around it, and so does my sister Ping. They can have other food together but if there is tripe about (watch out) something about the smell makes them crazy. Even if they are separate from the food they start growling at each other.

Mom really hopes I will have a nice birthday-since I lost my buddy Bingo two weeks ago. I sleep on his old beds and I seem fine, I still have a good appetite. Mom thinks maybe I knew he was sick and that it was time for him to move on

Update

Mom hasnt written a diary entry for me in a shocking long time, since December. I am doing good. My bloodwork is normal and all my kidney values are good. I had giardia and a uti, but that went away with antibiotics. Now Im feeling better and have been going for walks and relaxing at home. Mom and Dad have the week off and have promised to take us all on nice outings. I generally prefer to stay home (no long walks for me), but I do like to eat at cafes, since sometimes mommy and daddy slip me some food.

Zap photograph

I got my portrait taken by zap photography at the NJ Pet expo. The main photo on the page is the photo mom and dad had blown up, and I look so cute in it. I was a little scared but the photographer was very patient with me. I didnt want to sit on the leather chair so she put a little dog bed on it for me. Mom and Dad had to leave the room since I just kept following mom around, but after they left I posed for a bunch of shots. Now there a big picture of me to hang in the living room where all my brothers and sisters portraits are.

Im 11!

Today is my 11th birthday. Mom is very happy because when she first got me two years ago and I was diagnosed iwth kidney disease she didnt know how long Id be around. Now Im doing great and my kidney values are normal. I dont like toys so mom and dad bought me tripes and my favorite food, green tripe.

Memoirs of a Geisha

Today I went to the Canis Minor Pet parade, the store where I get groomed every 6 weeks (I hate grooming), in Pavonia New Port. I was a geisha girl and looked super cute in my costume. I walked very far, for me, about five blocks around down by the water and back to the store. I got so many compliments and we got free treats I really liked. It was fun!

Honorary pug

I had a great time today at the NNJPE (norther new jersey pug extravaganza) pugsberry bake off party. There were tons of treats and I tried them all. I visited with nice people and pugs and was very well behaved and I looked great too courtesy of canis minor grooming. I had a nice new scarf and a nice new hair cut. Mom was proud of me because I was so brave and social.

Long walk--for me

Mom is so proud of me-I went on a 40 minute walk in down turn jersey city and I only had to be picked up and carried once. I usually stay home because I cant do the long walk in liberty state park that my siblings do. But mom decided to take me out wiht Norbert when she and Dad where taking him to practice rally o. We also got ice cram, I dont like ice cream though, but Norbert got a vanilla soft serve and he liked it a lot.

Live long and Pawsper

My new page goes with my live long and pawsper scarf. Mom actually bought the scarf before she got me, she saw it at pet smart and bought even though it was too tiny for any of her dogs because she loves star trek so much. It fits me very nicely.
