ANOTHER day @ the Vet.

LR spent the day at the vet getting checked. Her ears and tail are back to being scaly, dry, and losing fur. She isn't itchy or even red and the vet was a little stunned on why this is happening w/o any other symptoms! She had a skin scraping done and everything was normal. The vet is suspecting staph so he put her on a 14 day round of antibiotics and also a specific ear cleanser to cut down on yeast! If nothing has changed in the next 14 days, the vet is suspecting food, flea, and especially pollen allergy (because her eyes are running too).

Blah! I am so frustrated and wish I could find answers! Wish it were that easy. I'm just glad she isn't suffering... and I'm hoping it's ONLY a cosmetic issue : /

I turn 2 today!

Today is my 2nd birthday! So far .. so Good! Dad went off to work but made sure to give me a birthday treat. Mom woke up and gave me my presents which were new toys! Then we are off to Granny's for some lunch and a stroll : )

I am going to be one in two weeks !!!

Mom says that I will soon be 1 years old!!!! She cannot believe how fast time has flown!! I am worried I won't be her baby anymore.. but she says I'm silly ! : )
I wonder what is to come after I turn 1. I am no longer a baby !!! : )

day in the life of lila

yesterday mom granny tippi harley and me went to petsmart, petco, and pet express ( a local dog boutique) and it was a blast!!
i walked around and met all kinds of new dogs and mom said she thought i would be a little shy, but i definitely was NOT shy! mom bought us each a shirt, some toys, and some natural choice carrot treats (which sounded gross, but were sooo yummy) I even picked some of my toys to add to my collection.
after we went to great granny's and hung out there for a while until we came home. boy! i was tired and slept all night.
mom says she and dad are planning a trip the week of christmas! and we get to go!
she says i better be on my best behavior : )

whats wrong w/ harley?

mom says my sis harley had a dental yesterday -- what is that !!!!!!-- and i am wondering why she can't come out to play! i keep going check on her (she is resting in the laundry room on a pillow) but she doesn't get up.... mom says that she is healing-- i hope she will be back to her old self soon! she's my bud : )
