Bio:
Star (her full name is Flying Orange Star), has been trained in field trials, obedience and agility. Star has had some training in tracking, as well. Star performs with Bill at churches, civil groups, local summer reading programs at libraries, retirement homes and local fairs. In 2003, Star was part of the three dog team that competed in agility events at the USDAA Nationals. Bill's wife, Sherrie, is a diabetic and Star has the ability to sense and alert her when her blood sugar goes low. Star will cling to and sit beside Sherrie until the sugar level has become a normal count. Although she's not high-maintenance, Star enjoys the trip to the groomer every few months. Star enjoys performing her tricks and bringing smiles to people's faces.
