Arrival Story:
My husband and I were thinking about getting a dog, and his mom heard from school about some people giving away "high-class mutts", as we call them. We planned on going to look at them to pick one out to take at the end of April when we moved to our new house, but after seeing her (and the owners saying they couldn't guarantee she wouldn't get squashed by a cow!) we had to take her. She was the most well-behaved puppy we have ever seen and was potty-trained in two weeks! She is a very smart dog (maybe too smart for our own good!) with TONS of energy.

Bio:
Shula is starting to calm down some, though she still has LOTS of puppy energy! She just goes and goes and hardly stops to rest. She is enjoying going to our cabin and playing in the water with her friend Captain Jack and herding the other dogs around. Shula also likes visiting at her grandpawrents' houses and seeing everybody. Recently we have decided to allow her on the couch - on a designated blanket - and she loves it! Her and the kitties are starting to form an alliance, which makes us a little nervous...but we are sooo happy to have a dog in the house. I couldn't imagine life without her!
