It's hard to learn!

I am getting alot of flack these days because when I walk with mom, I go crazy if I see a people. If I see a people I bark and try to bite them and bark and bark some more!
Mom doesn't know what to do with me!
She hired a trainer to help me to learn not to do this but the lessons are stupid and I can do them real easy and they don't address the problem so mom is doing something new. When I go crazy, she pulls my leash real tight and says firmly "NO BARK!". She even lifts me up off the ground about an inch with the harness. I know I'm not supposed to bark and lunge but I'm scared! There are too many people around. I don't know these people!
Why do they have to walk past me???? What's wrong with them???
I like people when I get to know them but not before.

Got a new 'do!

Today I got a new hairdo. A nice lady came with a van and it had a whole grooming salon in it. I got inside of it with her and got a bath and the works! I think I look extremely handsome now. Women just can't resist me!
I had to go right out and strut my stuff! I'm too sexy for my fur!

Here I am, safe and sound

Dear Diary,
I arrived safely from MI to NY on Saturday, March 15. The plane was early and they put me into a room behind a man at a desk. I was just sitting there wondering what on earth was going to happen to me next, when all of a sudden I heard a lady shout "There he is!". It was my new Grandma!
Then she and my new mom got me and took me outside and my new Grandpa put me in the car. I was so nervous that I pooped!
Grandpa cleaned up the crate and gave me to my new mom to hold. I liked the way that she was hugging me. I felt so safe.
I started to lick her nose!

Then we got to my new home in Queens. It's very small and there is no yard.
And I got to see that CAT and she hissed at me!

Well, its 5 days now since I've been here. My new mom really loves me I can tell. The CAT is not too bad, but she still hisses at me. I growl at her and bark sometimes. Her name is Patches and I hate it when my new mom kisses and hugs her. It just makes me want to bite all of Patches mousies right to bits!

I think I like it here. I get to sleep with mom on her bed and I hug her all night and snuggle. I love to snuggle.

I love my new crate too, its a good place to hide and nest. I love to go on walks now and see all the doggies and people. I met alot of them! I got a whole bunch of new friends like Max, Cody, Loca and Zoe.

Hey, they gots lots of squirrels here! I love to chase them!

Gotta go now Diary. My pet sitter is coming to take me walkies.

Leaving on a jet plane

Dear Diary,
Today is my last night in my foster mom Pam's home.
Tomorrow I will be going on another plane trip from Michigan to New York to meet my furever mom and my furever feline sister Patches.
I am SCARED! What will it be like? I hope I will like it there.
I wish I had a choice but I will do my best to fit in.
I think my new mom must like me already 'cos she chose me out of all of the other dogs at Small Paws.
I had such a good time with my foster mom Pat and her 5 bichons.
Now I have to live with a cat! I'm not even sure what a cat is and if I like them.
Foster mom Pat told me that furever mom Mary bought me all new stuff!
Toys!!!! That's gotta be a good thing.
Maybe it won't be so bad.
Darn, but I have to get a bath tonight so I can look spiffy for furever mom!!!!

Dear Diary, I will let you know how it goes.
I heard that I have a special bichon angel named JR watching over me.
That makes me feel alot better. Guardian Angel JR please stay by my side.

Please God be with me in my travels and help me in my new life.
