Wow! Wow! Oh Wow!!! I'm one of the Daily Diary Picks today! I'd like to thank Dogster for this honor. And I want also thank my wonderful pals who enjoy reading about my adventures & life!! This is soooo Great!!
Hmmm... now what can I tell you about that I've been up to lately? Truthfully not too much. I've been thinking that it's about bath time. I've developed a definite eau d' doggie smell according to mom. Well, hello! I've been trying to drop the hint. Why else am I sticking my head into the shower when she's in there? I'm saying, "Hey, I stink! How about spraying some of the soap & water my way!" BOL! Sometimes mom is a little slow on the up take, but I think she has it figure out now.
Today is the Super Bowl. I say big woop de doo. The only thing I see good going on is the big pot of beef stew. I will say that it has my nose doing extra sniffs. Mom doesn't have any place to go today to watch the game, no parties or anything this year. So I guess it will be a mom & pups night. She says she'll sort of watch the game just for the commercials.
And I can't believe she took a big bowl of that stew over to the neighbor's house. I mean, I could have eaten it for her. She says I have to be nice & share. She's working on her positive thinking & good karma stuff. Harumfffth! I guess if mom says I have to share, then I'll share. She did mention that I might get a half time greenie treat after all!
Yes indeed, it has been a wonderful night in the world of Patton. First of all, mom gets home from work and decides to clear the snow & ice from the patio. Woohoo! Mom is outside with ME!!
While she's busy moving the heavy muck, I try to entertain her by making fast mad dashes all over the yard. I tried to write a message in the snow with my pawprints, but I discovered that I don't really know how to write. I'll just have to get my message through to mom in a different way.
After the mad dashes, I had worked up an appetite. Mom served us a nice bowl of kibble topped off with a good dollop of tasty canned food. Umm Umm Good!
Then mom goes into the bedroom to do a little work. I come in to supervise. (I don't let mom out of my sight very often if I can help it.) She seeing me sitting there so sweet. Ahhh.... so she sits down with me and gives me a hug. Well that was nice. So I decide to wiggle a little closer & lay down. I have one leg of mine over hers and one leg of mine under hers. I put my little head on top of that leg. Mom giggles and says I'm silly. So she's gonna be silly too. Says she may never have a human kid, so she will have to practice singing the kiddie songs on me. I have to say I'm particularly fond of the Pease Porridge song & I'm a Little Tea Pot song. **sigh**
