Hard to believeFebruary 17th 2013 7:35 pm[ Leave A Comment | 1 person already has ]
It is so hard to believe it has been 10 years since Sandi left us and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was an exceptional girl and she really taught us so much. She has been a heart dog and one who gave so much. She also truly taught us the importance of adopting and saving a life. She is very special. When we moved to MN we moved with our human kids and our three girls, Sandi, Tara, and Kammie. All three helped us with transitioning to a new area where we didn't know anyone.
Rainbow Bridge - 9 yearsFebruary 17th 2012 7:17 am[ Leave A Comment | 2 people already have ]
It was 9 years ago that we said our final goodbyes and not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Sandi, you are loved and missed.
Thank you for thinking of me on my birthdayJune 19th 2011 9:51 pm[ Leave A Comment | 1 person already has ]
Sending love from heaven down to all my friends and family. It was so nice to be remembered today. After all these years to know I am still loved just warms the heart.
Rainbow Bridge DayFebruary 17th 2011 5:21 pm[ Leave A Comment | 1 person already has ]
Today is my 8th anniversary at the Rainbow Bridge. I hovered around my family today to let them know I am OK. I am always so happy to know they are still thinking of me. On Earth I loved them SO much and I always stayed right by their side. I felt comfort with them but I heard them say they were the ones who felt it. Today I also saw them celebrate my day by treating the pups with some ground turkey in their dinner and also by making a batch of chocolate chip cookies. They knew they were bad for me but they also knew that it was the one and only item I ever tried to steal. I know I mentioned it before, but that is how I became the cookie queen.

Dearest Sandi,
Sandi was LOVEAugust 17th 2009 10:30 pm[ Leave A Comment | 2 people already have ]
For us Sandi was LOVE and everything it stood for. Never for a moment did we ever feel she would have been happier with someone else. Her soulful brown eyes always glistened as she looked at us and her beautiful plumed tail was always wagging. Sandi, you were a gift from God and now you are with your glorious Creator. We are still missing you and thinking of you Sandi, our beloved cookie queen.
Cookies for SandiJune 19th 2009 8:07 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
Today we would have celebrated Sandi's 19th birthday. We miss her terribly and to celebrate her life with us, we baked a batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies for Sandi. We hope you could smell them from heaven! Now we know chocolate chips are bad for dogs, but in life the only thing Sandi searched for to steal were chocolate chip cookies. We bought her carob cookies to satisfy her sweet tooth but on occasion she managed to swipe a cookie or two. We called her our cookie queen.
I'm still lovedFebruary 17th 2009 6:16 am[ Leave A Comment ]
It was six years ago that I left for Rainbow Bridge, but there isn't a day that goes by that my family doesn't think of me. I was truly the first love for mom and dad. I really showed them the true love and devotion that only a beloved dog can reveal and for that they are grateful. After I passed away, mom searched for the very best song to fit my life with them and although there are so many that could work, mom chose a song by Natalie Merchant called Kind and Generous.
Don't BlinkJanuary 1st 2009 1:07 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
Have you heard the song Don't Blink by Kenny Chesney? How true it is. No sooner than you blink but it seems 5 years have passed and then again it's 10 years later. Time really does fly so you have to spend each moment holding on to the present and living life to the fullest. The time comes when loved ones leave, but in time you will once again be reunited. Here we are in 2009 and I've been at the Rainbow bridge for close to 6 years. For my humans it seems like only yesterday though. While a new year may be upon us, the love and memories always keep us close.
