I went to the dogter on Saturday - it was SCARY! I have lost 6 lbs!! Pretty soon mom won't be able to call me a fatty anymore! When I got in the room they made me stand on this platform - which they had to TRICK me into getting on. Once I got on it, it started to MOVE! I tried to jump off of it but there were four people that had death grips on me! Then they FORCED me over onto my side which REALLY freaked me out - jeez, all they had to do was ask, I would have rolled over onto my side by myself!
The doc did lots of poking and proding and twisting and turning on my leg. He said that it was swollen inside there, but he doesn't think it's a full ACL tear because I would be in more pain than I was. He can feel a miniscus click in there, so he is leaning more towards that being the cause of my limping.
He gave me two weeks of Deramaxx and light duty for a MONTH! So of COARSE mom wouldn't let me go to the beach over the weekend! I tried to tell her that swimming is GOOD, but then she said Yes, Abby - swimming IS good. BUT, running through the sand is NOT good! Oh well, we had fun anyway!
