Winter Drags On!!

Gads! WHAT a stupid time of year!
Here, it is, I live at the beach, where there's always supposed to be people to meet me, other dogs to play with, and then WINTER gets here, and everyone's gone!? So, I spend my time with my sister, Marika, whose not all that bad, as a companion....... at least it's fun to watch her dig holes in the yard, then even MORE FUN when Mom yells at her for it, and I sit up, on the porch, smiling and looking pefectly innocent! Which, when it comes to digging holes, I AM!
It's tough enough, being all white, without getting all covered in the black, sandy, dirt we have here! Plus, "looking innocent and cute", is something that's taken me nearly 3 years to pefect and I can't blow it now! Even my "who cares about haircuts?" look has taken me a long time, to get down just right! Mom and Dad don't give me one of those, "Every Westy has one", type haircuts, because Dad says, "You're not, just ANY Westy, Remedy, you're definitely one of a kind!" (I think, that was a complement, I'm not sure, though!?).
Anyway, back to winter time................ it's okay, I guess. At least, here, on the coast, we don't get many days that are freezing, and I've only seen SNOW, once in my life! Which after it getting stuck to me, was ONE TIME TO MANY for me! Yech! At least, if the summer people aren't here, right now, there's still a lot of people that visit us, to see the puppies and adopt them, that Mom and Dad have. My own, Dad, "Stubby", and his new girlfriends, "Chelsea and April", really make some neat-o pups!! My own, Mom, passed away, when I was born, so she's not here, anymore, but my Dad is, so that's pretty cool! And, when the people show up, to look at my new half bro's and sisters, I have a blast, helping Dad show them the new pups, and telling them how cool it is, to be owned by a Westy!!
I always have to look the other way, when some, poor, human, that doesn't know any better, tells my human Dad................ "Yes, we've always wanted to OWN a Westy!", because they have NO IDEA, as to WHO is going to OWN WHO, in a few weeks!! HAHAHA!
YIKES!!! I have to sign off of here! I just heard the WORST WORDS any human can speak around this place, and it came from my human Dad!!.............. "it's BATH TIME!" I'll write, more, later, when I come out of hiding!
