Arrival Story:
Honky Tonk showed up in the Berkeley Animal Shelter. He was just too cute, so we yanked him out and took him home for BAD RAP's foster care program. We've fostered dozens of wayward dogs over the years and prided ourselves on not getting attached ... but, lordy, this one worked some major mojo on us all: resident K9s included. Before we knew it we were hooked. He's become an important part of our family and helps us entertain whatever foster dog happens to be moving through. We wuv him.

Bio:
This snowball boy is deaf, so we talk with him in hand signals. Even so, we brag that he's the only dog in the house that actually listens to us! Maybe he's psychic. It's hard to know what his beginnings might have been ... he's such a nice guy and never seems to have been treated badly. He even came already housetrained. Whoever once had this dog did a really good job loving and training him up until they lost him. Their loss, our lucky gain.
