Mexican Hat Dance

Well hello everyone! Long time, no write. Last time I wrote, I was recovering from a horrible skin ailment. I am CURED, woo woo! All my hair has grown back and I am so pretty. It's a good thing I have hair, too- it's getting to be winter in NYC and I don't have a coat. I think Mom wants to buy me one but I prefer to strut down the street naked- hey, I look good! Do you like my party hat? Marc bought that for me in Mexico! I don't really like wearing it, as you can see, but I endured it for the picture. Right after Mom took it off, the strap broke- ohhhhhh well, guess I can't wear it anymore! Staying in town for Turkey Day, but 2 whole weeks in Florida for Christmas! I can't wait to see my Uncle Owen and Aunt Annie and run around in the backyard and get in the mud and HAVE FUN!

I'm All Drugged Up!

Howdy gang- long time no write! You'll be happy to know that Mom and I have finally gotten my skin problem under control. For a long time, my hair was falling out, and I was so itchy. The vet gave us some lotion, but it didn't seem to do any good. So finally Mom took me to a new vet- a real smart one! He gave me these little pills to eat- and you know how much I love to eat! Most of the time, I'll eat them right out of the Mom's hand. I also go in once a week for a "dip". Oh yea, it's great- they take me back to the doggy spa, rub me all over with magical medicine- give me a little pedicure- at least that's what I tell Mom! She doesn't get to come back and watch- she jokes that she's spending all her money on nothing! But really, is spending money on me a waste? I think not!
I also just went to Florida- what a time I had! Sleeping on the leather chair, running circles in the backyard, fighting with the cat- it was great. I even have a scratch on my chest from Annie to prove that I'm a fighter! I'll get you next time, pussy!!!!

Hello everyone! Isn't it great to hear from me again? Do you like my new picture? That's me in my new collar and my new handmade dog tag from FetchingTags.net. Mommy took me shopping for the collar, and a new travel bag, and some other fun stuff at Trixie and Peanut in NYC, this great doggy boutique. She spent a lot of money, but she said I'm worth it!
I had a great time in FL with Owen and Annie, and the rest of the non-doggy family, too. My favorite part is getting to go out into the big backyard and run big circles. Or run away from the Dadoo- he hates when I run into the mud by the lake! Bwa ha ha!

A Day at the Chihuahua Races!

Apparently, people are clamoring for my take on the chihuahua races. Well, here I am to deliver! We got there right at the end of the registration, and then had awhile to sit around and wait. I saw lots of other chihuahuas- none as cute as me, Mom says! Then, all of a sudden, we moved over to the track- it was my turn to race! Mom's roommate Sarah put me into this little box, and then a whistle blew and the box opened. All the people at the race forgot something- they forgot to tell us dogs what "race" meant! I didn't understand the whole thing- first I turned around in a circle in my box, then I ran out to try to get back to Mom's roommate, then I starting sniffing some other dogs. Mom says she was calling my name at the "finish line", but I didn't see her- there were so many things to see and smell! After a few minutes, Mom came over to pick me up- the race was over, and I guess I hadn't won. Ah well. Hopefully next year, someone will explain the whole thing to me!

After that, we went over to the dog run and I continued smelling and snarling at other dogs. It was a ball! Then Mom, Sarah and I had lunch in Rockefeller Center, and then we went to visit our other roommate, Erin, at her job at Saks! I loved playing tourist- Mom says I did a great job walking, and behaving my self in Saks. I was just a little bummed she didn't let me sniff all the couture- like Miss Piggy, I want to be a high fashion model! Ah well, maybe next time. See ya, doggies!

Office Life is For the Dogs!

Well scholars, today was a very exciting day- I got to see where Mom works! We rode in the subway and got to her office, and everybody seemed really nice. But then, Sofie showed up!!!! Sofie is the boss' dog- we didn't think she was going to be in the office, because her mom wasn't in the office, but there she was!! I don't like other dogs, so that put me in a very bad mood. Her mom finally showed up, and decided that I should go home. That was fine, I was ready to go home- office life is very tiring! So I did and got to take a nice long walk, followed by a nice long nap! Now Mom is home and we're hanging out, yaaaaay!

Happy 4th, Doggies!

Helloooooooooooo my Dogster friends. It is I, little Twinkie, here to tell you all about my life. Let's see- well, today is the 4th of July. I'm not quite sure what that is- all I know is that last 4th of July, there were horrible boom-booms in the sky!! I like to stay home on the 4th in my den, and listen to the radio, and Mom said that was OK! She's going to Coney Island to watch a hot-dog eating race- I asked if I could come, because I loooooove hot dogs, but she said they'd probably confuse me with a hot dog, so I better stay home. I love home- Mom got a new Queen-sized bed, so now we spend lots of time napping and rolling around and having fun! Other than that, I rest in my den while she's at work- she always tells me, why are you so tired all the time, you don't have to work like the rest of us, but a dog's life isn't easy! Lots of things to sniff, lots of things to eat! Well, happy Independence Day, doggies- stay safe!!

Howdy gang! I haven't written in awhile... I've just been so busy! Mom graduated from college, and her parents came to visit- I love those guys! I just wish Uncle Owen and Aunt Annie had been able to come to, to keep me company while everybody ran around town. Speaking of company, I have a new friend- David, Mom's boyfriends. He's pretty nice to me- he pets me, and plays with me, and picks me up- but I don't care; I'm somewhat suspicious of him. Just to make sure he knows who is top dog around this place, I bite him every now and then, when he tries to disturb me while I'm sleeping. A dog's gotta do what a dog's gotta do!

Living The Good Life

Well hello gang! Let's see, what's going on in my fabulous life- well, I recovered fully from my shock experience- thank goodness! I don't go under the couch anymore, though, just to be safe. And my Uncle Owen had the Dogster Diary of the Day yesterday- yaaaaay Uncle Owen! Hopefully when I'm older, I can have a really good diary, too. Today, Mom is doing a little work while I chew on my bully stick- boy, I love those! And later, we're going to Petco, hopefully to get some new toys, although Mom keeps spelling something about T-R-I-M N-A-I-L-S- I really wish I knew how to spell!!

I'm Shocked! Simply Shocked!

Oh guys, did I have a day today!! I woke up to loud booming and banging outside my house- Mom called it "construction", but I call it scary! Then I was hiding under the couch, trying to comfort myself chewing on this long rubber thing when- OWWW OWWW OWW! I felt all hot and tingly, and my mouth couldn't let go. Luckily, Mom got me out in the wink of an eye! She said I had been chewing on a "cord", and that I got "shocked". It was really embarassing- I "did my business" on myself during it all, so Mom had to clean me up. After that, I was so freaked out that I went to bed for the rest of the day, cuddling up with Mom's boyfriend, Mr. Bear. I didn't feel real good, but Mom gave me a special wet dog food dinner, and her roommates were extra nice to me. I'm feeling a lot better now- but still tired! I'll have all day tomorrow to rest, too- Mom's first day of school!

A New Year!

I'm one year old, you guys! I'm old and wise now. Hahha, yea right! I have a great life. Being in Florida is great- I get to frolic with Owen and Annie during the day and cuddle with Mom at night while she stays up all night, playing on the Internet and watching Sex and the City on DVD. We go back to New York on Friday- back to the grind! But I'm glad we had this time to bond. I love you, Mom!
