SO MANY THINGS GOING ON!!
We have had SUCH a busy week!!!
First, let me say that Emma's live broadcast is back up and running today.... in honor of the memory of our tiny friend Teddy, we chose not to go on air yesterday.
~ Fly happy lil' Teddy Bear ~
(Thanks to our Dogster friend Pat for "giving Teddy his wings")
Emma will probably spend most of the day snuggling under the covers as it's quite chilly here today... but you are welcome to stop by and visit!! (We have moved from BlogTV to Ustream)
All week we have been been sorting, organizing and filling up baskets for Emma's Christmas Paws Baskets Project to help bring a lil' extra Christmas to some of Emma's special needs Dogster / Catster furfriends this year!
This project would not have been possible without our WONDERFUL "Emma sponsors"!! Not only have these "friends of Emma" provided many of our raffle prizes in Emma's fundraisers... but these generous businesses and individuals have now come together to join in with all sorts of pet products and other items to help make this project a success!!
Many MANY thanks to: PetAg, Inc ~ Platinum Puppy Couture ~ BULLYWARE ~ DixiePets ~ Make A Tail Wag ~ Tinkerbell's Closet ~ Little Paris Noel ~ My Doggie Treasures ~ and our fabulous Dogster families of Jenna, Tessa, Tanner and the Harpur pups!!
Yesterday, Emma and I got to go help out a little withThe Hugs Project here in Oklahoma City!! Such an awesome group of caring hearts and HARD WORKERS!! My goodness, they are non-stop lil' busy bees - providing for our troops overseas!! Everyone was wonderful and Emma enjoyed meeting the whole group!! We are looking forward to helping out again!!
The Hugs Project can always use YOUR HELP!! They have several area chapters and many ways you can help serve our troops!!
Please contact Karen at: TheHugsProject@cox.net to find out ways that YOU CAN HELP!! Tell her EMMA SENT YOU!!!
GREAT NEWS!!! If everything goes as planned, Emma and I will be spending Thanksgiving Day at the Oklahoma City VA Hospital meeting with 50 of our hospitalized Veterans!! Each visit will be just a few minutes long so Emma is not completely overwhelmed - but long enough to convey our gratitude and well wishes - leave a nice Thanksgiving card - and share a few Emma kisses with some of those who have done SO much for our country!!
We still have to make some telephone contacts and get through some paperwork - - so keep your fingers crossed that it's a go!!
Emma continues to do well!! 4 MONTHS OLD tomorrow!! And already 21 ounces!!!
I am so pleased with the way this little one is growing up!! We still have a long road ahead and lots of things to overcome, but Emma is such a little sweetheart to endure it all and keep on wagging!!!
Tomorrow she will be 16 weeks old... I can hardly believe it!!
She is getting out more.... enjoying getting to meet new friends and see new things.... she's even getting to try new foods!!! One day last week, even though it was just the tiniest of bites - - Emma got to try a soft n' chewy Wellness puppy treat!! And she LOVED IT!! This was the VERY FIRST solid she has EVER HAD!!! The bite was the size of half the end of a pencil eraser, but she chewed and chomped like it was an 8 ounce ribeye!!!
As for Emma's fundraiser raffle.... We are almost there!!
Today - we are at 94% of our goal!!! Just 280.00 to go!!! That's just FOURTEEN pledges of 20.00 each!!! I THINK WE CAN DO THIS???
We have 8 days left now before Emma's pledge drive ends...... We still have a little ways to go before we can call Emma's Holiday Fundraiser Raffle a success!! It's not over yet!!
If you can share a single 20.00 pledge to help us help Emma, please stop by and do so!! We have some fabulous prizes over there to help fill your furry friend's Christmas wish list!!!

If your finances do not allow you to help out with a pledge (and with the economy the way it is today and the holidays right around the corner, I can certainly understand if you can't!!!) - you can still be of a great help in sharing Emma's story and raffle page link with EVERYONE you can!!
THANK YOU ALL who have donated to help our girl.... who have posted and reposted... who have sent out rounds and rounds of emails.... who have shared her story, videos & links with friends, family and co-workers.... who have provided raffle prizes.... who have sent words of kindness, offered encouraging thoughts and sent up gentle prayers!!!
Without you.............. Emma would not be!!!
Emma currently has almost 2400 friends on MySpace.... and more than 4200 Dogster friends!! Together, we have the potential to share Emma's story with MILLIONS!!!
Please lend a hand where you are able.............. God will take care of the rest!!!
We love and appreciate you all!!!!
