A day in the life of the princess pup

Thank Dogness!

Thank dogness mommy is home!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mommy and the furless sis went on vacation and after spending weeks checking out places for us doggies to stay, she took us to the home of a friend. Her daughter is a pet sitter and agreed to take care of us. We get there and start playing and having fun. After all, we're used to going to friend's houses with mommy and playing. After about 30 minutes, mommy gets up and goes to the door and so we go with her. Mommy turns around, looks at us and says STAY. WHAT???????????????????????? Mommy walked out the door, got in the car and LEFT US THERE! Can you believe that????????????? We cried and stayed at the door for over an hour knowing that mommy must have just gone to get us a treat and she'd be back. But guess what? It didn't happen! I hate to admit this but I got so upset that evening that I messed myself and had to have, you guessed it, yet another bath! I was a good girl because I wanted to make a good impression. I mean, if this was my new mommy she might not like me if I was bad during a bath. Neither of us would eat dinner that first night and we cried ourselves to sleep.
When I got up the next morning, I realized that this was going to be my new house so I went out on my leash and did my business like a good girl. Came back in and had breakfast and got to the hard task of playing with Angel, the other dog who lived there and the 4 cats. Angel and I both played so hard that first day we didn't even take a nap. We heard the lady talking on the phone that night and she said our names and then something about us having a sense of entitlement. I ran around barking like what does that mean???????????????? I don't know what entitlement is, but I know I'm a Diva and I showed them all what that meant with capital letters.
The next few days we settled in. The nice lady brushed us every day like mommy and took us for walks and even gave us the same food that mommy cooks for us. We started settling in at night and being the good girls everyone knows we are.
Then you won't believe what happened today! We were curled up sleeping with the nice lady and her husband while they watched TV when we heard a car door close. Of course we jumped up and started barking to warn them someone was there. We got to the door and OMD OMD OMD, it was mommy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I scratched and scratched til the nice lady got to the door to let me out and then I ran and through myself at mommy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I licked and love and loved and licked til she just giggled. We went back inside and both of us climbed up on mommy's lap and had a lovefest! When it came time to go, we both ran out the door before mommy because we weren't taking a chance on hearing that STAY command again!
Now we are home and have been snoozing all day. Of course, I had to give Sweet Pea almost a whole week's worth of licks when I got here but everything is back to normal now and I'm tired and happy to be home.

I'm under the weather

I'm not feeling very well today. I had a tiny bit of diarrhea yesterday, but not enough to concern mommy. When she got up this morning, there was a tiny bit on my blankie in my kennel which I never do. We went outside and everything seemed fine but within 5 minutes of coming back in, I had to go again so mommy took me back out. When we came back in this time I was cold (it was raining out) so mommy bundled me up in a blankie and rocked me time I was warmer. I wouldn't get off her lap though and laid on her for about an hour. Then I started shivering so mommy bundled me again. Then the yuck happened. I vomited, twice. It was the rice that I'd had for dinner last night. After I threw up, I had to go potty again. I went twice before I would come back in the house. I'm cuddled up on mommy's lap again now and won't move.
Mommy is concerned about me getting dehydrated before she can get me to the vet tomorrow but she has no idea what it would be ok for me to have today. If anyone knows, please let me know!

I'm soooooo excited!

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it, I'm about to lose control and I think I like it! BOL
Mommy is feeling a bit better today. Her fever FINALLY (after 3 weeks) broke last night and her cough is becoming more productive (blech). Anyway, because she feels better but is still not breathing that well, she can't do the housework but she can do the dogster work! My birthday is next Thursday and today she got my birthday page up! I think it's pawtastic!
I love the pretty butterflies and of course all the purple!
Speaking of my birthday, mommy says I get to have a party next weekend! I get to have party hats and doggy cake and icecream and all my friends are coming! Mommy says it has to be on the porch cuz she don't wanna clean up the leftovers. I told here that there would be NO leftovers with 6 pooches eating hahahahahahhahaha. Anyway, I can't wait and I'll make sure she takes lots of pics for my page!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I don't like Angel

There will be NO playing in the snow for me today and it's ALL Angel's fault! I'm so mad at her right now I would grrrrrr a ther if mommy wouldn't yell at me. Mommy took us out to play in the snow while she cleaned off the porch and steps so she could put salt down to try to melt the ice and what does Angel do?????????????? She takes off running down the hill!!!!!!!!! Of course, I went with her because we go everywhere together but I'm a good girl! As soon as I realized mommy wasn't with us, I ran right back home. Mommy put me in the kennel because I had run too. I don't think that was fair though cuz I was just following that grrrr big sister of mine! Mommy tried to get in the car to go look for Angel because who knows how far she'll run when she goes but mommy couldn't get the ice off the windshield so she could see. By this time her B/P is near stroke level!! She goes to get her clothes on and the phone rings. One of the neighbors grabbed Angel but now mommy has to walk down the hill which is a sheet of ice!!!! I can't believe Angel would do this to our mommy who does everything for us and spoils us so much! Mommy starts down the hill but the nice neighbor decided to help out and was walking up so mommy didn't have to try to stay upright on the ice too much. Angel got spanked and put in her kennel (which she deserved sooooo much more than me!) but then mommy said NO PLAYING IN THE SNOW TODAY FOR YOU TWO! What?????????????????????? playing in the snow is my favorite! Mommy is so mad, she won't even give me cuddles and kisses! I'm gonna go try to sneak in a grrrrrrr at Angel for ruining my perfect snow play!

Time for a pupdate?

Hi everyone, I've had a very busy week this week so I thought I'd take a minute to let everyone know what the Diva of the house has been into.
Wednesday, we got a bit of snow here so mommy got a snowday. Snowdays are my favorite days of all time cuz mommy stays home all day with us and we play in that wonderful white fluffy stuff! We even did another snow day game in STAFU and gave away some super cool prizes. I did get into a bit of trouble though and had to spend a couple of hours in my kennel cuz I runned away speedy quick to check out the neighbors yards and wouldn't come when mommy called:(
Then on Thursday, it took mommy forever to come home from work and get us out! When she finally came in, we went out and ran around then back in for the normal cuddles and hugs ( I just love cuddles and hugs!) Then, after we had dinner, mommy brushed me and put a pretty bow in my topknot and then, she got my new dress out and put it on me. I started jumping and barking cuz I knew I was going bye bye some place special! And guess what? Angel didn't even get to go hehehehhehe. We drive and drive and finally get to this HUGE building with an enormous yard. I jump out and when we get close to the building, I realize how big it and I'm afraid to go in. Mommy gets me in and carries me up the stairs (cuz I'm afraid of strange stairs). When we get upstairs, there all tons and tons of rooms and some have people in them. Of course, I pull mommy down the hall speedy quick so I can sniff out all the new people! I got lots of pets and cuddles from all of them, they all loved me. We finally get to one room and go in. Mommy puts my blanky on a chair real close to her and puts me on it. She explains to me that it is open house at her school and so parents and kids will be coming in all evening to talk to us and that I was to be very good. Of course, I was very very good and just smiled at everyone who came in until mommy told me it was ok to get down. I got to meet soooooooooo many new people and kids and got petted by every one of them!
When I got home, it took me forever to tell Angel all about it and even though she pretended not to be jealous, I know she had to be cuz she was stuck at home while I got all the excitement!
Today, mommy has promised to get our pages ready for st patricks day and I have to have a bath cuz I get to go to dinner at pawpaw's tomorrow (again, just me ehehhehehe cuz Angel gets too excited). I don't mind a bath if I know there's a good reason. It's just the ones I have to take cuz mommy says I smell like a dog (what does she expect???????????BOL) that I don't like.

Time for a pupdate

I just thought I'd let everyone know that things here are still kinda stressful but quiet. We are both going to the groomers tomorrow for a little fluff and stuff. I'm excited, Angel's not. I love my groomer! He lets me stay right with him and watch him work on all the dogs. He even takes pictures of me cuz I'm so pretty BOL. Angel would rather spend her time in the playroom with the other dogs but I prefer to stick with him.
Mommy FINALLY got my Valentine sent out to my sweet Valentine, Guimauve. I'm so sorry that it was late but she mailed it on Friday so you should be getting it shortly! I hope you like it. We liked it so much that mommy went back to the store yesterday and got us one too!
Mommy still isn't getting back online much. She's spending most of her time with our human sister or working but she's hoping to be able to start posting a bit more. I miss everyone and can't wait for things to calm down enough for us to be regulars again!

Exciting News!

Mommy gets the day off tomorrow! Not another snow day but a water main broke somewhere in town and the whole county is on a boil water advisory which means the kiddoes can't go to school!
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooooooo
I'm so excited, that means I get an extra day with mommy and no kennel for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still recovering

Hi everypup!
I'm still working on recovering from my surgery. Mommy says my tummy looks good but ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh they shaved all my beautiful hair off my tummy! I don't have any pain but I'm still really really tired. When Angel tries to play with me, I just whimper and even the kitties have given me kisses instead of me giving them kisses. I don't want to be much of anywhere except on my mommy's lap. Unfortunately, this has been a bad week for me to need that because mommy has already put in about 50 hours working this week. She took this morning off so we could cuddle. The best thing about this whole surgery thing is that Angel has been put in the kennel in mommy's room to sleep and I've gotten the bed! I didn't know how wonderful it was to cuddle with mommy all night but I'm not sure I'm gonna switch places back with Angel hehehehe.
I'm gonna go take a lil pup nap before mommy has to go to work. I just wanted to thank everyone for all the love I've received this week and let you know, I'll be sending love your way this weekend!

What a week and it's only Monday!

OMD OMD you aren't going to believe it, but I, sweet little tiny Bella Cinderella, tiny pup who is still finding my growl has a Valentine! He is the sweetest, most handsome boy pup and he's a wonderful dancer too! We danced and the TP New Years party and he swept me off my feet! When he asked me to be his valentine, I did my little princess dance and started doing some of my famous aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooooos! His name is Guimauve and he's just sooooo precious! I can't wait for Valentine's Day now!!!! This is my first one in my life and I even have a Valentine! Don't tell mommy but I think she's jealous cuz she don't even have one hehehehehe. I know that Angel is cuz she don't have one either but she's such a cutie, I expect she'll have one before the big day!

On a more serious note, mommy says I have to go see the dogter tomorrow and Angel can't come. I'm not sure what it all means but last year mommy kept talking about me getting big enough to have pups someday. I don't guess I'm going to cuz yesterday she told me that I wasn't going to be a mommy ever! She told me that I can't eat after 9 tonight. OMD what am I gonna do without my breakfast in the morning????????? Tomorrow is scrambled egg day too, I can see I'm going to have to pull out my biggest saddest eyes because she seems pretty adamant about not giving in this time!
She also told me that I'm not going to be able to play for quite a few days and this has me VERY unhappy! I'm the princess of play and I can't imagine mommy not letting me. Woe is me! Can't somebody come and stop mommy from making me go to the dogter tomorrow? I've always liked her before but not if going means no breakfast and no play! I want a second opinion, I want someone to come here and stop this! I'm not sure whether I want to be a mommy or not but I KNOW I don't want this dogtor visit!

I'm so 'cited!

This has been such a wonderful day!
1st thing this morning, I'm helping mommy read her email and you won't believe what I saw! That little girl that I got to spend the day with for Christmas is having a birthday next week and guess what?????? I get to go see her again for her birthday! Mommy is going shopping for pwesents this weekend and we're going to get a surprise for her too but I can't tell you what it is cuz she might read this hehehehe.
I'll make sure and tell you how it goes next Tuesday!
But that's not all! When mommy got home from school, we found out that our new doggie car seat got here! OMD! I can sit in the car and see out the windows FINALLY! I can't wait to go zoom zoom in the car now!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh but I'm STILL not done with the 'citement! Mommy had my pictures taken at a studio, she called them "portraits". I don't know what that is, but I know the pretty lady had a camera and just kept taking my picture, which I love love love cuz we all know how pretty I am! Anyway, the pictures are here and mommy just ooooooooo'd and ahhhhhh'd forever over them! She's going to try to get them on my page tomorrow. I can't wait to see them on here so my friends can see what a good girl I am to that! Mommy says Angel can't get hers taken cuz she won't sit still or look at the camera all pretty like I do so too bad for her!

Our Snow Day

I was sooooooo excited this morning because mommy's school was closed and she got to stay home with us. I talked her into making a contest for our friends to guess how long I'd talk her into letting me play outside in the snow!
Lemme tell ya, it's been a FUN day!
We only got to out to PLAY twice, cuz the 2nd time we got in soooooo much trouble and had to stay in our kennels for awhile. I was NOT happy that Angel got me in so much trouble!!!!! So we were out playing in our yard when we realized that all our snow had gotten messed up somehow so we ran into some of neighbors yards cuz they don't have any doggies to mess up their snow. We were playing and having a ball and running up the hill and down the hill when mommy called us back. Then Angel (who has been known to run away before) started running down the hill to mommy, but she wouldn't stop! She just kept going. Well, she's my big sissy and I know that she will always take care of me so I followed her thinking she'd sniffed out some more neat snow! When we got to the bottom of the hill and rounded the corner, I started to get scared cuz I couldn't see mommy!!!!!!!! Angel just kept running full speed though so I ran some more too! I finally found a house I recognized and went to the porch. A sweet little girl that I had sniffed before opened the door and picked me up. When I looked around, there was NO ANGEL! Then I look and see mommy's car....she had to go find Angel AGAIN. I barked and mommy stopped and picked me up but I could tell I was in big trouble! We took off to find Angel and mommy finally found her at the store trying to get someone to buy her an ice cream probably.
When we got home, the hill so frozen that mommy couldn't drive back up it. Oh no!!!!! Mommy let us out of the car and We started running up the hill ahead of mommy. Mommy yelled "ON THE PORCH' and of course we ran straight for the porch and waited for mommy. We both got sent to our kennels and I cried and cried and cried until mommy finally let us back out.
Because of that nerdy birdy Angel there was no more playing in the snow for me!
The good news is, due to our adventure, we managed to play in the snow for almost an hour today! 55 minutes total cuz mommy says we can't count the times I just went out to potty cuz that's not really playing :(
Mommy is gonna go check the group board to see who won the special gift!

I got to be a hero today!

OMD you aren't going to believe the day I've had! I'm so tired from all my heroism that I'm getting ready for bed early and I'm being a good dog about it. Mommy told us last night that we were going on a special trip today and that it was a surprise so I tried my best to sleep good last night but at 5am I was so excited I just had to start barking and get mommy up. Well it took all morning to get mommy moving but finally I knew we were leaving because she brushed Angel and then it was my turn. And then you won't believe what she did! She got my very specialist bow out and put it in my hair and then put my very new pink fur coat on me! I started jumping all over the place and barking, I couldn't wait to get in that car! I even jumped in the car myself, I've never been able to jump that high before but I was so excited I just jumped right in!
We picked up my hoo-man sister and off we go. I was so impatient though and it took FOREVER to get there. When we got out of the car I looked up and saw my very favoritest store ever, PETSMART!!!! OMD I started jumping and jumping and trying to make mommy run so we could get in. When we finally get in the store, there are 3 hoo-mans waiting for us inside the door. A nice mommy and her two kids. Mommy handed me to one of the kids and Angel to the other. I didn't understand but hey, they tasted sweet so I just gave them kisses and curled up in the little girls arms. Mommy explained that these two little kids aren't allowed to have doggies but they love them so much. All they wanted for Christmas was a fun day out with their mommy. Well we played with them for awhile and then you won't BELIEVE where they took us!!!!! We went to one corner in the store and OMD OMD OMD SANTA PAWS WAS RIGHT THERE. That's right pups, I got to sit on Santa's lap and he even let me give him a big wet sloppy kiss!!!!!! I got my picture took with him and mommy promises she's going to put it on my page soon. He was so cool and he even gave us a yogurt treat for being good dogs.
We played with the kids for about an hour and even let them take us outside and walk us. They said they had never walked a dog before and man was there smiles everywhere! They just hugged and hugged us and didn't even turn their heads when we kissed them! I'm sooooo glad that I got to help them have a fun day because it was so much fun for me! I can't wait to see the next surprise mommy will have for us because she says she's going to find lots of people who can't have dogs and let us go play with them!
I would like to thank those kids mommy for trusting us enough to let us play with her kids today and I hope they fun the rest of the day!

Wow what a week!

Man oh man, I've been waiting forEVER for mommy to leave this computer unattended but she's had so much work to do over the long weekend that I have't been able to catch the computer on and her out of the room. hehehehe Now's my chance.
Let me start by telling everyone that my sister Angel was very VERY bad dog on Wednesday. Mommy had some work to do outside and she was nice enough to let us come outside with her and play while she was working. Well, I stayed right with mommy and sniffed out all the fun stuff but that bad dog Angel waited til Mommy was busy in the storage building and then do you know what that silly dog did????? SHE RANNED AWAY!!!!! Ran right away from our own precious mommy! I couldn't believe it! Of course, I had to get in the car with mommy and help her find that silly dog. We searched high and low for over an hour with mommy stopping everytime she saw someone outside and asking if they'd seen her. I have never seen mommy cry but after awhile, she was crying so hard. I tried to get in the seat with her when she stopped and lick her, but she'd have none of it. All she cared about right then was finding Angel, she didn't even want my sweet kisses! When mommy had finally given up and decided to go home and print out some pictures to put up, we had gotten almost home and you won't believe what I saw. That silly Angel saw us coming and ran right across the street and tried to get up on our porch before mommy saw her but I started barking because I knew how upset Mommy was. Angel ran in the house when mommy got on the porch and straight into her kennel she ran. Mommy didn't even have to tell her to go in, she just ran right in and she stayed there for 3 hours WITH THE DOOR WIDE OPEN. I think she knew how upset mommy was and was trying to be a good girl for her!

That evening, mommy got the biggest bird out of the fridge that I have ever seen in my life. I started jumping up and down and barking because I just KNEW she hadd gotten it for me cuz I was the good girl and didn't run off! Do you know that she didn't even let me smell it? Just put it in this big old cooker and turned it on. Harummmph. I was the good girl ya know and I should have at least gotten to smell it! Anyway, all I could smell all night long was that bird cooking. It smelled sooooo nummy that about 4am I couldn't stand it anymore and I started barking and barking, even got Angel barking with me. Mommy came stumbling up the hall and took me out cuz she thought I needed to go. Then can you imagine, she just went right back to bed! I managed to stay quiet til it was almost daylight then I woke her up again. This time she went to the bird and took it out of the pot and I thought oh boy oh boy, now this is it. Princess Bella Cinderella is gonna get that bird and Angel is NOT. Well, don't ya know I was wrong again! Mommy just put it on a big platter and left it on the cabinet. I don't understand that cuz mommy knows I can't jump that high. I just stayed in the kitchen and jumped and jumped hoping I'd get good enough to reach it, but I didn't. Then mommy went back into the kitchen and started cooking the best smelling stuff I've ever sniffed. Angel and I were getting so excited just knowing that we'd get a taste cuz mommy's a pushover like that! When everything was done and mommy got dressed, do you know that she started loading all that numminess into the car?????? Ok I thought, she's gonna put our matching hoodies on us so we can get in the car with all that food. Boy oh boy was I wrong again! She got our human sister to put us in our kennels and they left!!!! Left us poor dogs right here at home while everything but the bird was gone!
When they came home, all mommy had was empty dishes with her and I was so sad, I just curled up on her lap and gave her my doggy eyes. I guess they must have worked because that evening, she got a pot out and my very favorite red box out of the cabinets!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS the rice, my favorite thing in the whole world. She cooked me and Angel up some rice and put some of that bird right in it! I ate all mine and then tried to help Angel but she growled and growled at me and wouldn't even let me have a bite! Don't she know I'm the princess AND the baby and I should get what I want????
Anyway, I have decided this Thanksgiving is the best holiday yet but mommy says there is a better holiday coming!
Mommy is coming now so I'll have to update on the rest of the week in a lil bit!

Ok I thought, she's gonna put our matching hoodies on us so we can get in the car with all that food. Boy oh boy was I wrong again! She got our human sister to put us in our kennels and they left!!!! Left us poor dogs right here at home while everything but the bird was gone!
When they came home, all mommy had was empty dishes with her and I was so sad, I just curled up on her lap and gave her my doggy eyes. I guess they must have worked because that evening, she got a pot out and my very favorite red box out of the cabinets!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS the rice, my favorite thing in the whole world. She cooked me and Angel up some rice and put some of that bird right in it! I ate all mine and then tried to help Angel but she growled and growled at me and wouldn't even let me have a bite! Don't she know I'm the princess AND the baby and I should get what I want????
Anyway, I have decided this Thanksgiving is the best holiday yet but mommy says there is a better holiday coming!
Mommy is coming now so I'll have to update on the rest of the week in a lil bit!

What a good day

Hello everypup,
It's been a fantastic day in my house. First my mommy got my sisters and I a loveseat that reclines. Mannnnnnnnnnnnn did we all take a good nap in that thing earlier!
As if that wasn't good enough, mommy made Angel and I some of our favorite pup treats. Of course, Angel was messy with hers and I had to lick her whole face when she done to get her clean. It's ok though, she's my sissy and I love helping her out like that!
I hope mommy gets more time off soon because she never has time to make us pup treats when she works all the time.

A little bummed tonight

So here I am, the most precious pup in the house and I can't get what I want. My momma had to run to the drugstore earlier and I KNOW they give out the best doggie bones but I was busy playing and didn't want to go. When mommy came home, Angel came bounding in the door with the biggest bone in her mouth and my mouth started watering. I ran over expecting her to give it to me because after all, I'm the baby. Well, she wouldn't give it to me!!!! She even had the nerve to growl at me when I tried to take it! Doesn't she know I'm the baby???? And the worst insult, mommy wouldn't take it from her and give it to me!!!!!!
I'm just gonna go curl up with my pikachu and lick him til he's wet.
