A couple of weeks before Christmas, Mom and Dad started talking about this thing called a "sister" and saying that it was coming home soon. I didn't know what a "sister" was but Mom and Dad sounded so excited so I wagged my tail in anticipation.
The big day arrived where we were going to pick up this "sister" thing. Yay! CAR RIDE! We went to Jody and Pam's house (they were my human parents before my parents came and got me). There's so many other dog friends to play with there. I was so excited! It was a little different this time because there was a tiny dog there who couldn't quite keep up the pace with the others. I left her alone because the other dogs were more fun. When it came time to leave, the little dog came with us. I figured we were dropping her off somewhere for Jody and Pam but no. She went with us all the way to my house! I didn't know what to think of her. She ate alot, she slept alot, she had to go outside alot, and she was too tiny for me to really play with. I kept looking at my parents trying to get them to tell me what to do with her.
She took up my space, started to play with all of my toys, took some of my parent's attention away from me, and tried to eat out of my bowl at breakfast and dinner. Is this what a "sister" is? If so, I didn't want her.
Since Christmas, she's gotten a little bigger and needs someone to show her the ropes. I can do that. I know there are certain things that we don't chew on and certain ways that we are supposed to behave. There are times when she can be fun to play with too. I like having someone around the house that I get to boss around. This "sister" might be fun. We'll see.
