Pupdate on Mummy

As a few of you know, Mummy has severe problems with chirosis and her sleen due to a blood transfusion about 26 years ago. She contracted Hepatitis C and they finally found out about 7 years ago.
Their have been a lot of problems as Mummy was also born with a blood condition called spherasytosis which Mummy has to have blood transfusions for.

Well lately Mummy has not been keeping so good and has been on a lot of extra care and anti biotics etc...

She went to see the Transplant team in November as they thought Mummy could not have a transplant at first but now they say yes!!
BUT.... it will not be for 2 years as her liver will last that long. Also her spleen is about 20 and a half cm's large when it should be 7cm's and it is growing fast with a worry of it bursting so she has to be really careful!!
So if the spleen lasts that long it will be a double op, they will transplant a liver (hopefully) and take the spleen out at the same time!! Big double op but, at least now Mummy has a chance at a long life!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO

When and IF the op is succesful it will be a long recovery, as they are going to start the treatment for Hep C as well as all the recovery stuff and the problem is the treatment causes Mummys blood condition to worsen so she will have to have transfusions prolly a lot during the time of recovery.

So if we are not around so much at the moment we are sowwy....

Mummy really is trying her best to be involved and join in but she gets so tired and she has just had that Virus going about which wiped her!
So its not we dont want to play we just hab to look after our Typist a likkle bit more at the moment

Daddy has toe operated on!!

Daddy has to go in fur day surgery today and have is lump removed from his big toe!
It is WEALLY BIG AND UGLY! so we will be glad for him even though he says its not painful, but he can only wear sandals!
Eben though they say its not cancer they are still going to do a biopsy just in case we fink. so please if you can send some healin vibes to daddy we would much appreciate it!

OUR DEAR DEAR FRIEND ELMA HAS GONE TO THE BRIDGE

Passed away yesterday. We are so very sad, she used to come visit us with her sisters and we used to go visit her with her sisters they were our really real bestest pals.
Elma was very poorly at the end and her Mummy our Aunty Julie sat with her yesterday to pass her to the bridge with dignity and love.
Elma you kept us all in line, you were the matriach of us all girls as well as boyz.
We have some special videos and pics of us all together at bbq's and we will never furget you ever.
We are seeing your Mummy in May wif your sisters and it will be strange without you being there, but we know you will be wif Angel Glen at the bridge watching over and laughing with us.
Elma we will always love you and miss you xxxxxxxxx

The trees were blowing in the gentle breeze

SOOOO WORTH THE READ!!!

HAPPY WOOFDAY DADDY!!!!

We got up today and we were late waking daddy up?!? He didnt realise we knew secretly it was his woofday and we let him have a lie in! Then when we went on our walk we behaved really well!! (fur a change BOL)...
When he woke mummy after our walk like he always does, she wished him Happy woofday and we gave him our present!! It was a fact/quiz book on Formula ONE racing which is daddys passion!!
And to top it all Mummy bought him tickets to drive a simulation F1 CAR on a simulation track, because he cannot do the REAL thing and luck would have it, its the FIRST ONE in Britain and its only up the Road from us, so he is well happy and now he has gone to take Nannys paper round, he does EVERY day, and he doesnt know it but he has lots of prezzies and a cake around there!!
So Happy BIRTHDAY DADDY you are the bestest EVER!!!!!!!!

We gave daddy our zealies and he went and brought a weally pretty card and a stash of her fav chocolate, cause even though she rarely eats solids she does get sugar cravins BOL so they should last about a year!

DOG LICENCE EQUALS STEALTH TAX !!!!

IN UK apparently we have the strictest animal laws in the world, FOR the dogs, but trouble is the laws dont get policed! So as the election is coming up LABOUR as usual have decided that Dog owners should pay a licence fee (stealth tax) for each dog they own!
This is because of the incidents about dogs Biting people and being used as weapons. We all know the type of owners dont we?

This was Mummys answer

I own 3 dogs, 2 shih tzu's and a Shiranian (tzu/pomeranian). we used to have a neighbour who owned a staffie lovely dog, or would have been if he had the right owner!! never socialised until too late, allowed to roam free and HATED other dogs. Eventually two years after his dog bit my puppy we got to court, we went through hell and back with him and his dog. During this time he got a female staffie and she also would have been a great dog except for the owner!!
He got fined for not having his dog on a lead in a public place and we got compensation of £150. Which we get when he can afford the odd fiver.
My dog had to have his dew claws removed at some expence, thank goodness since the beginning my dogs are chipped, insured and trained.
We have a sign on our garden gate BEWARE OF THE DOG, people laugh and say you only have small dogs, I tell them yes but this is their property and if someone comes in uninvited they may bite so you are warned. They go out on a lead all the time, picked up after all the time, But my most frustrating thing for me as an owner is that people think they look cute and without asking me will (because they are small) just walk over and pet them!! PLEASE PEOPLE ASK!! My dogs dont mind and love people but some small dogs are nervous and will nip, just because they are cute doesnt mean they are not a dog!! they have very sharp teeth!!
My pomeranian X is a guard dog, in his nature as the pomeranian is bred from the German hunting dog the SPITZ so dont mistake that he wont bite if you try to break in my garden or house! Its natural to protect what is his!!
My dog insurance covers ME the owner for upto £2 million pounds in case I get sued by an agreived party or they cause an accident in the road etc, so on that I am covered.
About Muzzles, I could not put a muzzle on a shih tzu they have faces that are too flat and would not want to anyway!
IF the need arose that one of my dogs turned dangerous I personally would have them put down, I onced owned a rescue dog who had this potential and she was a x breed and eventually she did bite someone who walked over to pet her without my permission! so I duly took her to the vet and let her go.
Being a responsible dog owner is a big decision and a very big commitment, puppies are like babies all cute and fluffy then they grow up into adolecent teenagers!! train from birth, plenty of training classes about, ASK about finding a dog only park, they are very rare in this country but would save a lot of problems with people who are not dog lovers.
Taxing owners like myself and there are many is a very unfair idea. Those who care like myself and are aware that NOT EVERYONE are doggie people ARE RESPONSIBLE.
I pay about £100 a month for my 3 dogs upkeep and that includes insurance!
I am disabled and they are taught to go on my buggy when I need to go a long distance, they have travelled on a TRIKE (biker dogs) when I was able, socialised to the hilt, BUT they are still dogs and We are all a pack and they will protect what is their's.
TAX me and YOU THE GOVERNMENT will just make me more angry with who I vote for, I personally as a dog owner am just sick to death of being tarred with the same brush as those like my x neighbour, who by the way is an addict, thief and dealer and has a rap sheet as long as both legs.
So before TAXING the wrong people try enforcing the LAWS that are already in place and get rid of the GANGS of people who use dogs as a threat and weapon, get them on animal abuse because that is what it is!
Sorry for ranting people but as you can see this is a very sore subject with me after living next door to an IRRESPONSIBLE BULLY OWNER for 2 years!!!!!!
