HAPPY THANKSGIVING

WOW! We had a busy weekend. My mom was looking after another dog and Michelle was visiting and had brought my buddy, Sarahsoda. The other dog was a Bernese Mountain Dog. Apparently he is a year old. We had loads of fun. I like my brother, but he is 10 years old and doesn't play with me very often. It was great having Marlowe and Sarahsoda here. We went to Harmony every day and ran around. That tired us all out! It was loads of fun though. Sorry to see everybody leave.

Summer of 2007 - I HAVE A MOM TOO!

What a summer! I have become more secure and my mom is now letting me off leash! Yeah everybody, I have a mom too!

I met Sarahsoda a couple of times during the late spring and now she is visiting here. She's great. I wasn't too sure of her mom, but I like her now. I am now allowed offleash at Harmony. It's a great place. I don't like it when I lose sight of mom, but she normally isn't too far away.

I am now a healthy boy too. I was sick when I arrived, but we didn't know that right away. I probably had stressed induced colitis and I had loads of different worms in me. My mom was presistent and I finally got better. That explained why I had the accidents in the house. Thanks goodness my mom never gave up on me. I feel so much better.

The leash isn't anything to be afraid of. How silly. Everything was so new to me. I am settling in quite nicely now and I even have my own chair in her computer room. That's where we are now, as I dictate this!!!

I have a really good life now. Some things are still challenging, but I never knew what a home was like until now. It was worth waiting for!

June 2007

I am still with this woman and Argo. Found out there are two cats living here as well, but they don't interact with me. I tend to get excited and chase them. Maybe I scare them, but I don't mean to. This woman, Joy, took me to the vet a couple of times and it terrified me. I had accidents in the office. The vet didn't do anything either time. I was too scared to let him near me.

I am scared of a lot of things. I don't even like the leash. It scared me. It's not too bad now, I guess.

May 2007

I was driven all the way from SPCA Monteregie in Quebec to Port Hope, ON. It was a very long drive and I was so scared and confused. I was then popped into another van with another dog from the same place as me and these three women. Another drive to the one lady's home then transferred into another van with one of the women. We arrived at this woman's house and I met another dog. His name was Argo. I was terrified of everything that was happening.

I had many accidents in the house. The woman never yelled at me, but I could tell she was getting frustrated and concerned.
