First Day on Dogster

My Birthday!

Well, I am now 7. Getting up there.

We went to Petsmart today and got cookies - mmm...I like the peanut butter ones the best. Also got a new "binker" - it's got squeakers in all the ends! I love it....

Then we went swimming - my favorite past time!

Now I'm taking a nap on the porch. ....ah, this is the life!

Canoeing on the Colorado River

Hi everyone! Well, I was right....our friend Bonnie came to visit last weekend and we had lots of fun! On Friday we went east of Austin out into the sticks. There was a cool hillbilly (think Deliverance) family who we met and got to check out their shack before we hit the river on a canoe. They were nice people - howdy's all around.

I love canoeing and swimming! Have I mentioned that before? So, there are a few new pictures on my page here for you to check out.

Before we left I found a deserted package of cookies and I got all four that were left for myself! Good dog!

My mom also added a video of me in Spicewood Springs - again....sorry, she's crazy.

Not much more new - I'm hoping more people come to visit so we can check out more swimming spots....

First Day on Dogster

My mom seems to have found yet another thing to do on the computer that doesn't involve taking me for a walk, taking me to the creek to swim, or giving me treats. Hmmmm...I don't know what I think of this.

We live in Austin now, which means I don't get to visit our friends as much. I miss going to 101 and howling hello at everyone. That was the best part - then we could go :)

But now it's always warm out, which means lots of swimming for me - something I love! We go to the park where I swim after the stick to cool off - then it's off to roll in the grass and sniff out something really stinky to get in to! (there's a video of me rolling on this page). Sometimes we'll just play in shallow water and I'll hike rocks for a while. I've gotten good at dunking my whole head in and picking them up from the bottom.

All-in-all Austin is pretty cool. I get to go to lunch with Jack and Roxanne because the restaurants let me on the patio. We also often take walks to Petsmart, which is only a block away, and to Blockbuster where I also get to go inside.

Well, that's enough for today. Our friend, Bonnie, is coming to visit this weekend and may be we'll have lots of fun activity pictures to show everyone afterward.....
