Happy Thanksgiving

I know Thanksgiving is coming because mommy told me all about it...AND there are the most yummy smells coming from the kitchen. Mommy keeps telling me "no" that these treats are not for puppies but I think they may be. Things are good in my home and my human brother came home today from college for the holiday. Mommy says we are going to put up our Christmas tree soon. Yay! I LOVE CHRISTMAS! Santa is such a good guy...he always brings the best treats and toys for puppies. I have been an extra good girl this year, but my brother Rhett may not get any toys because he ate mommy and daddy's couch. They had to get new ones and they were mad. Well, gotta go, more good smells coming from the kitchen....I think mommy needs my help with taste testing!

Welcome Home Rhett!

Well, now I know what a Rhett is...an annoying little brother. Mommy says I have to be nice to him and teach him all the rules of the house. Well, he is not SOOOOOO bad. He is kinda cute....fora redhead! he had to go meet Dr. Jason today ad they gave him a shot to make sure that he is healthy. I went along for the ride and to make sure that no one hurt my new little brother! Mommy brought the crate out again! YIKES! but she took the doors off my side so I don't have to stay but Rhett does because he will peepee all over the house when mommy is not home if he doesn't stay in his side of the crate. But not me! I am a big girl and I never have any accidents in my house. Well, that is all for now...I am just waiting on Rhett to wake up so we can play some more. He's not half bad you know?

What do you mean I am getting a new brother?

Well, I am not sure what is going on but mommy keeps telling me I have a new brother. I am confused. I know that Ian is my human brother and it does not look like mommy is about to have another baby. She says that my new brother is something called a "Rhett". She says that he is a Boston Terrier puppy like me and that he looks like me but he is red and white. Red? What a funny color for a puppy. She keeps trying to show me picture of him but I just pretend like I can't hear her and turn my head away. She said he lives in Oklahoma (wherever that is) and that he is not old enough to come home yet. He is only three weeks old. She said her and daddy are going to get him next month when he is old enough to leave his mommy. I hope she does not expect me to share my toys with him. He better come with all his own toys....well, maybe it would be fun to have someone at home to play with....who knows....maybe I will give him a chance. Everyone cross your fingers!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Mommy says today is my birthday. She says I am one year old today and I am a big girl now. I am not sure what all this means but I did get some new toys and some yummy new treats today. Mommy also let me sleep late in her bed since daddy was gone fishin! I wish I could have a birthday everday! This rocks!

Surgery today!

Well, it is very early around here. Mommy says it is because she and daddy have to take my brother Ian to the hospital to get something called surgery. She said his foot is hurt and the doctor is going to fix his foot while he is asleep. I told him to be careful because the last time I went to sleep at Dr. Jason's they made me a Princess! I gave him lots of kisses and told him I would still love him, even if they made him a princess. Mommy says it is not the same thing and he won't be a princess when he gets home. Whew! I was a little worried...I kinda like my brother stinky just the way he is! Ian is worried but mommy says everything will be just fine. Mommy always knows. I will let you guys know how everything turns out.

R.I.P. Memaw

Hey everybody. It has been awhile since we were on. Mommy has been sad. Her Memaw died unexpectedly. I loved Memaw. She was old and sweet...she loved me and called me a "good girl" and she gave me treats when she came to visit. Mommy went to a place called Albany for the funeral. I had to stay home. Apparently they do not allow doggies at funerals. My human brother stayed home with me. I missed my mommy and daddy when they were gone. They came right back home but it is not the same when they are not here. Mommy has to go back and help my Nana finish packing up Memaw's house but Mommy says I can go with her this time. I am excited that I do not have to stay home again. Mommy is still sad and she cries sometimes but I always give her kisses and that makes her happy.

Changes

There has been alot going on at our house lately. Daddy has been doing stuff to mommy's kitchen. He makes big messes and tears up stuff and builds more stuff. I keep telling mommy when he does it but she just says it is ok, daddy is building us a new kitchen. I don't know. Mommy looks stressed and daddy is making BIG messes. We have a new table and chairs. Daddy made the new table out of concrete. Isn't that what sidewalks are made out of? Anyway it is very pretty. Daddy also tore out our pantry and mommy had to put all the food on daddy's pool table. Now we have new cabinets and mommy has put all the food there. Daddy built shelves and mommmy is putting the glasses and plates and stuff on them. It is starting to look better but when mommy got up to walk and feed me this morning she found paint spots on the new cabinets so now she has more mess to clean up! Mommy keeps saying that daddy is building us a new kitchen....but I don't know.....it looks like he just keep making messes! (I do like the new table and shelves though. They are very pretty) I just hope mommy likes it.

Daddy's "Be My Valentine" Contest

My mommy says I should write about why I would be the perfect Valentine for Daddy. I must admit...I have always thought that Daddy was a very nice looking dog. Me and my mommy watch the show all the time. I really think that I would be a perfect match for Daddy because me and my mommy help people all the time...just like Daddy and Cesar do. My mommy helps teach people how to take care of their children. Sometimes people are mean to their children or don't take care of them. Mommy helps to protect them and find them new homes if they need a new home too. I like to help her. Mommy says I am good at helping because the children love me and I make everyone more comfortable and happy. Mommy says it is just like what Daddy and Cesar do for other dogs and their people.

Gee, I hope we win because we could help some other dogs and even cats on our town at the shelter.

Family Reunion!

Whoo hoo what a day! It was a big day today. Me and my human parents went to visit my fur mom and fur dad and my brothers and sisters. We had so much fun! My mommy says she put some pictures up on my page for everyone to see. We saw my mom Princess, my dad Harley, my brothers Buford, Rascal and my sister Prissy. Our friend Davidson was also there! Mommy says I look just like my fur mom. She is very small and petite like me. We had fun. We played and ran and played some more. After we all got tired mommy and daddy said it was time to go home. I hope we get to do that again...it was fun!

Happy New Year!

I am still not sure what all the fuss is about. Mommy says it is a new year now. She says that some people stay awake until midnight to see the new Year come in. Mommy says that since it is a new year I will have a birthday in June and then I will be one year old. Mommy and I were asleep but daddy stayed up watching TV until it was the New Year. He said he called Nanny and Pawpaw, Uncle Brandon and Aunt Suzanne and Aunt Regina to tell them Happy New Year. Don't tell mommy but I opened my eyes just a little bit....I did not see anyone or anything named "New Year" come in so I went back to sleep.
