You feel like a candle in a hurricane
Just like a picture with a broken frame
*Alone and helpless
Like you've lost your fight
But you'll be alright
*Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
*You might bend, till you break
Cause its all you can take
*On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
*You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand, Then you stand
Life's like a novel
With the end ripped out
The edge of a canyon
With only one way down
Take what you're given before its gone
Start holding on, keep holding on
*Everytime you get up
And get back in the race
One more small piece of you
Starts to fall into place
I got to go to the desert with Mom, Dad, Grace and my furless brother, Larry. It was just a great weekend of motorcycles, target shooting, golf ball driving, campfires and barbeques. We were the only ones as far as we could see so we got to run off lead. I wish you were all there with me.
We finally went to the lake. It's been so long. Mom is finally feeling pretty good so Mom, Dad, me and Grace, my 1 year old Yellow Lab sister, went to the lake. We walked for what seemed like miles. We saw jack rabbits, lots of different kinds of birds and other dogs. I got to meet a couple of cute little fawn colored Chihuahuas. We were all about the same size.
We thought maybe we'd see "Aunt Sandy" there. She is Spencer and Tara's Mom but we didn't. Maybe next time.
Wishing all my pup pals and their humans an Happy St. Valentine's Day!
