Hi pals,

It snowed here in New Mexico and let me be the one to tell you that this Princess is NOT having fun! It's super cold, the snow is now melting and tuning all the dirt into mud. That nasty ole trailer that daddy bought is leaking everywhere and there isn't a dry stop to be found. It is so cold outside that the water lines to the trailer have frozen so there isn't any water. Luckily, momma thought to fill some water jugs before the snow arrived but even those are fozen. Momma told daddy that if the water lines don't thaw out by the end of the week he better be prepaired to check us into a hotel overnight so she can take a shower - BOL.

The house is coming along though. The kitchen is almost finished and is looking very nice. Daddy worked on connecting the huge island to electricity yesterday and was going to move the refridge and dishwasher over but momma asked him if he was aware that he and the applicances would SINK INTO 4" OF MUD IF HE TRIED TO MOVE THEM FROM THE GARAGE TO THE HOUSE NOW?! For once daddy listened to momma and left them in the garage for now.

The master bathroom is almost completly tiled so hopefully today daddy can finish and then do the guest bathroom which is small so it shouldn't take too long. Daddy doesn't like doing tile work and after doing the huge kitchen tile on the diagional as momma desired he really hates doing it now - LOL. The kitchen is so big that it took daddy almost one week to do the kitchen tile. Momma has been taking pictures of things but the trailer is too cold to sit in and download everything so they will have to wait until some other time.

And speaking of cold, my poor little paws are hurting so I am going to get off the computer and go warm up in the kitty/bunny room in the house because they have a heater going in there.

I hope all my pals are doing well and I miss you all!!!!

I hope things are going better with the house. Frozen water sounds like fun to me, but I doubt that my humans would like it.LOL Angel and I envy your snow. We got some flurries when Sandy hit the east coast, but that is about it, and this dog is mad about the weather. The house got so warm yesterday that Mommy had to turn on the fan. I guess it is time for me to go and have a talk with that senile old Mother Nature. I can't depend on the humans to do it because they are happy with the weather now...happy...can you believe it?

Praying that your home is done soon so you can move in, and that the weather warms up so you can stay warm. Do you have hip boots for the mud? Sorry - just joshin.

It was 12 degrees last night but "warmed" up to 36 degrees today - BOL, BOL.

DFB - Momma says you and AZS are welcome to come spend the winter here with us.

Jackie - Momma bought Puffy and me shoes but they don't fit (thank dog!), plus the mud will just pull them off anyways. Momma has some rain booths but when she packed she didn't mark what box they are in and now she can't find them (Remember we are still living in the garage until the house is signed off by the code enforcers). She said she is buying her a pair of mud booths tomorrow!!!

Riley, Anya and Petey - I have started allowing the humans to cover me at night - I'm no fool. The cats have the best sleeping arrangements because they are housed in the guest bedroom in the house with a heater that keeps them nice and warm all night long. Daddy wanted to put Puffy and I there too but Puffy barked and barked because he wanted momma so that didn't work.

My dear sweet Coco. I wish I was there to keep you warm and cozy. Since I got better and I am feeling fine, maybe I should travel to New Mexico and wrap my little stubby Shih Tzu legs around you.I think it is going to be a long winter.

Stay warm,Miss Coco and Puffy....I knew that darn old winter would find you too! We had a stormy wknd.
Rain,then frizzle,ice,cold,windy and followed up with snow!
4" here but 50 m away it was 12".... Our big trees have been dropping chucks of ice onto the roof since Saturday.
Didn't lose the power.....

I HAVEN'T BEEN A HAPPY CAMPER EITHER!
I feel for you Miss Coco...at least I had water and heat.
The house smelled great with jerky,cookies and fruit breads going. I stayed snuggled into blankets all wknd.
Maybe you are going to have to come to my house
to recover from building your house??????????

Tell Daddy to hurry up with that house!

Mommy says frozen pipes bite. Snow is nice though. I do hope your pipes unfreeze. I guess they make something that you can wrap them in or so Mommy says. I guess some of our pipes are wrapped though we don't get snow. I feel jiffed now. I hope you guys stay warm.

Oh my goodness! You all are like CAMPIN'! In the WINTER-ISH weather! Curling up in a heated room with family sounds NICE. Is that what you're doin'? Maybe you should get extra treatsies! Those help with WARMS! Need warms where you are!
