All this packing is wearing me out pals. Momma had to millions of pictures on the walls down and has been wrapping them in bubble wrap so they won’t get damaged when we move. She has already gone through four big rolls of bubble wrap and is going to need another. Wait until daddy discovers that momma went out into the garage this morning and took his bubble wrap – HeHeHeHe.
Quite frankly I don’t get the whole packing thing. Why does everything have to be boxed or bubble wrapped? I can’t even count how many boxes the humans have used and they still need more (along with bubble wrap). When we get to New Mexico we won’t even have a trash service so all of the boxes and bubble wrap will either have to be burned or taken into Gallup, which is one hour away and disposed of, at a fee.
Living out in the rural areas is pretty but you sure so have to change the way you live when you are used to city conveniences. Today daddy had to go to the bank which happens to be located in a major grocery store. He asked momma if there was anything she wanted and she asked him to pick up some lettuce for Arleenton. When he came home he had two bags of kitty treats but nothing for Arleenton or us. What the Woof?!! Momma said that was okay because she has a doctor’s appointment this afternoon and would stop and pick something up for Arleenton afterwards. This kind of forgetfulness will not be okay when it is a one hour trip, each way, to a grocery store when we move to New Mexico.
Of course momma has already thought about Arleenton’s needs and had daddy plant some lettuce and other veggies on our property, but it doesn’t do anyone any good as long as we are in California. I bet those New Mexico jackrabbits, cottontails and jackalopes are enjoying all of Arleenton’s veggies as I type.
And speaking of treats, there will be no Pet Smart or PetCo located anyplace close to us in New Mexico. I have already barked my displeasure at this and convinced momma to make sure she stocked up on my treats so I don’t run out. I think it is only right that she take the money she got from the garage sale and go to Cost co and spend it all on treats for me. I’ll be a nice sister and make sure Puffy gets one or two treats – BOL.
Hugs and kisses,
If only the humans could grow dog treats.
BOL! Arly gonna has her own veggie-patch...how cute!!!
Now is you and Puffy gonna grow you's own stuffys at the Coco-Puff Rancho?
My Dear Coco,
My momma will be happy to send you treats in the mail. You just tell us what you want and we will go to PetCo and buy them for you and Puff.
That is the least I can do for the love of my life.
How cute! Too bad you can grow a MEATZ tree.
I had to run to catch up with your diaries, Coco!! OMD, what a whirlwind at your house! I'm glad you didn't get sold at the yard sale, or rolled in bubble wrap!
My mommy says living in the city without a car is almost like living out in the wild. (We have a car, but daddy takes it to work evfurry day.) If it weren't fur her confuser, we'd be pretty lean on treats around here, too. Do you think the UPS guy will be able to find your house in New Mexico?
I think all dat yard sale money should go to treats too!
