Goodbye 2007 & Ring in 2008

I'd like to thank all of my friends who have made my 2007 Dogster experience so wonderful. I simply do not know what I could have done with out you.

First of all, I would like to recite quite an old poem/song in honor of my friends--some old, and some new.
"Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold. A circle is round, it has no end, that's how long I want to be your friend."

Some of my pals have given me support through the roughest of times, some have made me laugh, and some just the plain friend I needed. Junebug, Roxy, and Sadie, I definitely don't know what I'd of done with out you guys. You are so wonderful and great to me, and I'd do anything for you.

Some of my friends are new, like Bailey. He is so sweet and cute! He is a very nice fur friend. Taco and Zuki are the best of my pals too. I am so glad I met them, because they are always my friends, and I know they will be there for me when I need them.

I also made a great boyfriend. The lovely and handsome Royal Bentley Deeogee, or otherwise known as Bentley. He is supersweet and loving, and compliments me, and helps me. He is so wonderful!

Some times were very shocking and celebratory, like when AFF made it into the New York Times. How cool is that? Or like when Sassy and Rusty got married...they are a pawfect match. Like Reesie, my fur uncle, and Hope got married.

Others were very saddening. Mama's very own Fergie died this year, and misses her dearly. Tico--that little trooper. Poor little thing got attacked by a hawk, but is hanging in there, and progressing wonderfully. And when one of my friends, Choo-Choo died recently, there was a good amount of tear flow from me and mama. Or when one of Jackson's best buds Rico passed, oh how sad that was. We know we cried off and on for two days.

I'd also like to thank the wonderful administers of my groups. Rascal and the rest of the gang had made AFF a very fun and successful group. And like Madison, Buttercup, Duff, and the rest of em has made PDPC a pawesome group.

Dogster itself has made some few changes...like the new homepage, which took me some getting used to, but now I like it very much.

So I guess I shall say good riddance and good bye 2007. At midnight tonight--December 31st, you will only be a fragment of our precious memories. I can once again start another year, which will go by as only as fast.

Happy New Year to all Dogster members, and Dogster HQ employees. I hope that 2008 is a good year for you, and as for me as well.

What an afternoon!

Today I went to go get my picture taken with Santa Paws. Well lets see...it to FUREVER to get a picture and Santa was a .......*gasp* WOMAN! So finally, after my picture was taken guess what we saw? I car wreck where a woman was having to be removed from her SUV that had flipped! Then we arrived at mama's dad apartment complex which is only a few miles away, A CAR WAS ON FIRE! We got there right in time to take pictures! We even got to see the fire fighters come and put the fire out!!! Now this not exactly how I had planned my day, but hey it was so exciting! I think I'm just going to lay down now from my exhausting, but pawesome afternoon! I wish my life was this exciting every day!

DMAs...Dogster Music Awards

Wow! I had such a successful night at the DMAs last night. It was celebrity-packed night, including a celebrity of course you all know...MOI!!! My favorite performance of the night had to have been Barktry, singing their acoustic version of "Home".
I noticed lots of the "in-crowd" over in the front row seats. Barkonce', Carrie Wooferwood, and Kidd Bark were just a few of the people sitting there. Woofy Kimmel, the host was pretty good of a host. Him trying to do Soulja Bark's "Woof That" was hilarious!
But enough of those B-listers. Everyone knows that I stole the show! I mean come on, 4 awards including: Best Female Barker, Favorite Female Pop Album, Best overall album, and Best hit Bark.
My moment of the night HAD to be when I was accepting Best Female Barker! It went a little something like this..."Oh my dog! ***starts tearing up***I just can't believe it!" "I mean I was in there with some pretty tough competitors, and I mean I can't believe I beat out my mentor, Fergie!" "I'd like to thanks all of my friends, family, all the dogs out there on Dogster, and the Dogster Dog for helping me win this award. ***Full out Sobbing*** I mean I've worked so hard for this, and I couldn't have done it without my adoring fans...***gets cut off***music starts playing***"SHUT IT! I AM SO NOT FINISHED YET! YOU CAN WAIT ON ME! I MEAN, EVERYONE KNOWS WITHOUT ME THESE AWARDS WOULD BE NOTHING!!!"***music cuts off***"Ahem, thank you...Now, where was I?"***shout comes from the crowd***"Oh yes, thanks random dog in the crowd!" "Like I was saying before I was so RUDELY interrupted. I'd like to thank everyone on behalf on my award. AND especially, my executive producer, Barkaland, and my manager, my loving, caring, and providing mother. I couldn't have made it with out you mama!" ***walks of stage crying***"Thank you everyone, have a GREAT night!"***I get a standing ovation from the crowd and what seems like an eternity of clapping and whistling***
Now that's what I call a show stopper! I can only imagine what next year will be like....

My day so far...

Nothing much exiting happened today. Aren't princesses supposed to have interesting lives? Well I guess I do have some interesting news...Mama is going to buy me a wardrobe! She said not to get to excited, because she has to "earn" the money first, but I don't mind. I have already picked out a few cute dresses that are like, the most adorable dresses I've ever seen! I will have a temper tantrum if I don't get what I want though. You know how us princesses are, so spoiled and all.

Uncle Reesie (he is also a toy poodle) is supposed to be groomed tomorrow. Really, he needs it! You'd think a man with the slightest bit of royalty in his blood would always upkeep himself. Well, at least I do, I mean, grooming is one of my trade secrets in staying this beautiful. Trust me it's not easy being gorgeous, you have to constantly work at it you know! The brushing, the cleaning the tear stains (very common in us Creme' canines), the washing, the blow-drying of the fur, the Appletini frequent misting...this list could go on for ages!

So when I entered my great-grandparent's palace today, I saw uncle Reesie, and boy was I happy! He didn't seem the slightest bit to be excited to see me though, which I found shocking, because he had a royal-bloodline-inherited-princess right there in front of him! Men, they can be so cranky sometimes. Especially the older ones!

So as I am on my throne right now, telling Mama what to type for me, I am hoping you are having a delightful time reading about me. I mean who wouldn't be. It's not often that you get to have royalty writing a daily auto-biography of herself.
