Arrival Story: On the 24 May 2006, me and my siblings were taken into care (Rescue Centre) and was left there with a note pinned to the box we were in pleading for help, it had on it our breeding, age and an apology from the human who couldn't cope wiv us all (6 of us)
I was very frightened as me and my sisters and brothers were poked and prodded about by some human called a Vet, he treated us all fur worms, fleas and pricked us wiv somefink very sharp We wuz then put into a barred room with some food and water and a nice big soft thing which we slept on. We settled down and played somewhat, but we were so tired and still a little scared.
We had lots of humans milling in and out and one by one a sibling would be picked up and never came back
I followed suit and put my bravest face on to try and get a humans attention when the door wuz opened then, on the Saturday I was there again in the corner at the front squashed up against the bars half sat and pawing the air and whining trying to get this humans attention along wiv my only brother that was left.............. when I was spotted by a lady I now call mum, she couldn't help but see me - correction - hear me coz I was whining the loudest and when she bent down to speak to me I answered back and wagged my tail so hard I thought it was gonna fall off. She said somefink to the young girl who then came in and picked me up and handed me to mum who I covered in kisses and banged my tail against her side. Mum didn't like to leave my brother all on his own but just could not take him as well and was upset when, a lady who was directly behind mum said she would take him I was in mums arms and we went into the Rescue Shop and I picked out some toys and a bed and a collar and leash. Mum was chatting away and laughing to a lady behind a desk and there wuz a lot of paperwork lying around. Then a man came up and was ruffling my head and neck and next thing I felt a prick in my neck and heard someone say "all done - Chip in" and off we went to the car where mum had a cardboard box with a nice blanket in and a chew bone to keep me occupied for the long drive home - I liked travelling in that car too and fell asleep quite contented.

Forums Motto:
well mum and daddy were out and about all morning and Meesha and me were left at home - Meesha in her crate. Mum was running very late today and when she got home she wuz only home about 15 minutes then had to drop daddy off at the Doctors and carry on with me to the park for my walk. She didn't want to leave Meesha in her crate again so seen as it was a lovely afternoon she decided to bring Meesha along with me and carry her around the park. Meesha was enjoying watching me go squirrel hunting and the like only thing was she started off at 5kg and mum says ended up weighing about 15kg eeekkkk! Mum's arm was tired and she stopped at a bench to get an arm stretch and breather, her pockets weren't zipped up and out dropped her lighter, she duly picked that up, and zipped both pockets back up. We then carried on with our walk and when we got to the car.........horror..........no keys!!!
Now this was just the start, mum only has one set of car keys!
She had met an elderley couple strolling around the park and they had stopped to admire Meesha - they returned back to their car at the same time as mum, Meesha and me - they offered to drive mum and Meesha in their car as far as they could into the park before coming across a locked gate. Mum had to leave me on a borrowed lead hooked over the tow bar of her car with the elderley gentleman watching over me! Mum had an idea where she may have dropped the keys and was hurridly going towards THAT bench! She was half way across the path when her mobile rang and a man on the other end said "have you lost some keys"!! Mum sorta yelled YESSSSS - and wondered how the heck he had gotten hold of her moby number *thinks*. Well the kind man HAD found them near THAT bench and said he would wait for her. She finally got there and thanked him very much and asked how he got her number..................turns out daddy had kept Cassie's ID disc on his key ring and mum still has the same moby number!!!!!! HOW LUCKY WAS THAT!!!
Whilst all this was going on, Meesha had been left in the care of the elderley lady who was waiting in her car coz she said she didn't know how mum had carried her all the way round to start with BOL.
Now, anything could have happened to me or Meesha with these kind folk but mum just knew instinctively that we would be ok with them..................THERE ARE STILL GOOD AND TRUSTWORTHY FOLK ABOUT IN THIS WORLD and mum will be eternally grateful to them both *big sigh of relief*
Mum says, that is the first and last time she takes Meesha out with me until she can walk for herself! crazy crazy idea....... *duh*
Sadie is OGH - Deputy BOL. So true it's unbelievable! Here is the description....
Your dog is an Organised, Gamma and High Activity type which we call the Deputy. The Deputy is a submissive, mouldable, balanced character. It happily does the leader's bidding, is easily led and controlled but prefers an orderly environment. The Deputy conforms to its leader's wishes most readily. Deputies are easy to train, willing to conform socially and team spirited. They are everybody's friend.
I went a free walk this morning with my agility buddies Millie and Cooper. We went to the park and mum let me off YAY FREEDOM AT LAST - there wuz snow on the ground and it wuz kinda slippery too and me went to run but didn't get anywhere for a few seconds as i was on ice BOL and that sent me loopy hehe. I think I on the mend well and truly and so enjoyed myself I can't tell you....
I feeling much much better and lets hope I stay that way;)
