Long Vacation at Grandmama's House

Dear Diary,
It's been a long time between entries, but that's only because I can't get Grandpapa Tommy to stop playing solitaire long enough to let me use the computer. I have now been here for almost 2 months! Dad says he's been busy at the farm, and I know he has been working hard, but I really think it's time for me to go home!

Dad starts his new job next week, so I'm going to give him a couple of weeks to get back into a normal routine, and then he better come get me!

In the meantime, I have been playing a lot w/ Mimi, and sleeping with my Nana, and just being a lazy pup for the most part.

Finally, Grandmama keeps talking about April. I've only met her a couple of times, but I think she's great! Everyone got to go to PF Changs last weekend, but they wouldn't let me go :-( They didn't even bring me home a doggy bag. Dad better not screw this one up....if he does, I'll bite him!

My Blog: MIA (Missing-In-Action)..SORRY!

Dear Diary,
Sorry I've been gone so long! Dad and I just moved back from Texas in January, and I've had limited access to the internet. Dad has been "farming", which sounds like fun to me because I LOVE CHICKENS and I know they live on farms. Dad told me it wasn't that kind of farm, but I still think it would be fun. I was staying w/ Grandmama until this week, but Dad took me home for good after I had my teeth cleaned last Monday...I guess he missed me; I know I really missed him! We have been taking really long walks around a place called Highland Avenue; it's been a lot of fun! I'm trying to get back into shape so that my cousin/sister Maggie won't make fun of me anymore. She's so thin! :-(

Anyway, now that I'm home, I'll be sure to log on when Dad is gone so that I can update my blog.

PS: Grandmama got me some HUGE CHICKENS...they are fantastic!!!

Also, Dad has been seeing some girl named April lately...I can't tell if she likes Dad, but I can tell she's crazy about me! (of course). I'm not too sure about her though....she doesn't realize I've been the only woman in his life for the last six years, and I"m not ready for competition now that I'm finally back with him. Also, she's going to be a Doctor, which is like a Veterinarian for humans. GRR! I might have to bite her! But I have to admit that, for a non-BT, she's really nice and very pretty!

Finally,
My cousin Opal is getting really big! She'll be a fine dog, but probably not as well-behaved as me b/c Uncle Kevin and Aunt Amy aren't as strict with her as they were w/Maggie. She is a really sweet pup though, and I really like going over to play with her, Rags, and Marshall.

Dad says he will help me update again tomorrow. I am pretty worn out tonight; I thought Dad was yelling at me, but he was only getting fired up yelling about the Tide. Either way, I am tired, and ready to go get in the bed and get my meaty hindquarters rubbed. My bulldog cousins played great today! The Bama Crimson Tide will play my Georgia cousins next week....it should be a good game! Goodnight!
