Arrival Story: Rocky was our cousin who is now our brother. Rocky lived in the neighborhood of a lake house that Grandmaw and Grandpaw owned. His owners left him outside all the time and didn't take very good care of him. Many years ago, one cold winter's day, he came up to Grandpaw and his paws were almost frozen. Grandpaw got him in the car and brought him to their house. The neighbors never looked for him, and he found a new home where he got lots of love and indoor living!
Bio: Rocky likes cats because he lived with several at Grandmaw's house. Because of his mild arthritis, he stays in the lower level of the house with Sugar. This makes for a calmer house, and he doesn't have to climb stairs. Rocky is almost completely deaf, so you have to speak loudly!
Rocky made his journey to the bridge on July 13, 2009, at the age of 14. He had gotten sick five days previous, and was diagnosed with cancer in his lungs, abdomen, and liver. He will live forever in our hearts, and will be missed by his Mawmee, Daddy, and especially his kitty sister, Sugar. Rest in peace, Rocky boy!

Yesterday my friend and lookalike, Smiley made his journey to the bridge. He was 13 years old.
Smiley was quite an adventurous doggie. When he was younger, he traveled all over the United States hiking and backpacking with his Daddy. He logged a lot of travel miles on his paws!
Be sure to stop by and become friends with Smiley. I'm sorry you made your journey, Smiley, but we will have a pawsome time exploring and watching over our families!
Mawmee got a call from the vet's office yesterday telling her that my ashes are ready to be picked up.
So, today she will stop by and get them. Mawmee and Daddy are going to bury my ashes near Little Dog Bridge which is where Autumn is buried.
There is a Big Dog Bridge in my yard too, and that is where Patoka and Snowy are buried. Mawmee and Daddy said I was more Autumn's size, and she needs another doggie near her. Buried near Autumn are some cats too - Callie, Mosby, and Spunky. I lived with Mosby and Spunky, and I liked most cats, so it is a good location for my final resting place.
Thank you again for such an outpouring of love from both old and new friends . . . . . dogs and cats! You have made me feel more special than I could have ever imagined.
I have a pawsome pair of beautiful wings to fly free at the bridge. Thank you, Daisy, for giving me such a special gift!
