I'm back from my vacation at the resort. Mawmee and Daddy were in Utah for a whole week. They traveled all around the state, and saw lots of cool mountains and stuff. They went hiking, and ziplining, and rock climbing!
The highlight of the trip for Mawmee was a trip to Best Friends Animal Society. They spent the morning doing a tour of the beautiful facility, and then after lunch, they volunteered.
Mawmee went to Cat World and spent several hours playing with cats. Daddy went to Dogtown, and they asked if anybody would like to take a dog on an outing. So, he said that sounded like fun!
They gave him a blanket to put in the rental car, and then he got to meet Charles de Dog!
Charles loved riding in the car, and stopping several times to get out and walk. They sat in the grass, and Charles got treats. Charles doesn't like other dogs, but he is great around people.

If you ever get a chance to visit Utah, Mawmee and Daddy said you should go to Best Friends! And if you know someone who would love an older dog for companionship, Charles is de Dog!

. . . . . . we all scream for ICE CREAM!

Well, it was uneventful! I decided to be a good boy and not bite anyone today!
Mawmee and Daddy reminded the vet tech, Mary, that I don't like being messed with, but Mary brushed it off and said, he's fine - I've dealt with Rocky before.
So, I went in the back with Mary so that the vet could check me out, give me shots, trim my nails, and take my blood. Just so that I could show them who was really boss, I cried and screamed like a big baby. I wanted Mawmee and Daddy to hear me out in the lobby.
When it was all over, they talked to the vet. She said, did you hear him crying? They all laughed and she said my bark was bigger than my bite, and that I'm really just a big 'ole baby!
Dang, I got a reputation to live up to - I can't have her spreading the news that I'm just a baby!
In the lobby, there was an orange cat in a big cage. His name was Bailey, and as we left, I lifted up my gum to show him that I have teeth and to ignore anything he hears later in the day about me being a softie!
