Arrival Story:
Rocky was our cousin who is now our brother. Rocky lived in the neighborhood of a lake house that Grandmaw and Grandpaw owned. His owners left him outside all the time and didn't take very good care of him. Many years ago, one cold winter's day, he came up to Grandpaw and his paws were almost frozen. Grandpaw got him in the car and brought him to their house. The neighbors never looked for him, and he found a new home where he got lots of love and indoor living!

Bio:
Rocky likes cats because he lived with several at Grandmaw's house. Because of his mild arthritis, he stays in the lower level of the house with Sugar. This makes for a calmer house, and he doesn't have to climb stairs. Rocky is almost completely deaf, so you have to speak loudly! Rocky made his journey to the bridge on July 13, 2009, at the age of 14. He had gotten sick five days previous, and was diagnosed with cancer in his lungs, abdomen, and liver. He will live forever in our hearts, and will be missed by his Mawmee, Daddy, and especially his kitty sister, Sugar. Rest in peace, Rocky boy!

Thank You, Pals!

I want to thank all my pals who remembered me yesterday on my 2nd bridge anniversary. I'm living a great life here at the bridge, but I know my family misses me very much.

My family is moving next week from Kentucky all the way to Arizona! Autumn and I plan to sprinkle angel dust as they travel for four days with five cats in the car! Autumn and I are sure glad we don't have to be in the car for that! BOL!

The cats don't usually wear collars, but for the trip they need to be wearing some identification. Mawmee has been making them wear their collars so they will get used to it.

Daddy told her that every time he hears the jingle jangle of their tags, it reminds him of me! I'm always nearby!

Have a pawsome summer . . . . .

Thank You Friends!

Today is my birthday! It's nice to have so many friends still remember me even though I'm up here at the bridge! Thank you!

I have a lot of family up here with me, so we've had a pawsome day celebrating.

I see Mawmee and Daddy are as busy as ever with all those crazy kitties. Life goes on, but I know I'll always be special to them, and they have some wonderful memories of me . . . . .

One Year at the Bridge

A year ago today I made my journey to the bridge. It's hard to believe it has already been a year. Mawmee gets to see me every day this month because my picture is on the family calendar that is on the refrigerator.

Mawmee and Daddy were talking about me over the weekend. They said it seemed strange not to have a dog in the family, and what a good dog I turned out to be after I came to live with them.

Autumn, Spunky, Calvin, and I stay pretty busy up here at the bridge. There are always new angels to greet, and we have our weekly angel dust sprinkling job too.

I had a good life, and I know they will always remember me.
