Bella loves to lay in the sun either outside or under the skylights. She'll move around all day to find the smallest sliver.

Pet-Peeves:
She's quiet mellow during the day but after supper... watch out!!! She's like a tornado and cranks it up big time.

Favorite Toy:
Her brown stuffed bear is her "baby" that she sleeps with but likes to play with a toy with 3 balls with bells in them.

Favorite Food:
Science Diet Training Treats. She's so small I break off little pieces and a couple will last all day. See best trick below ;-)

Favorite Walk:
Loves to run around the yard and is finally big enough for a harness so she's just starting to use a leash.

Best Tricks:
Bella learned sit and come the first week. She loves to go down the end of the hall and run full speed toward me to sit at my feet for a treat... (over and over again all day!)

Arrival Story:
After 13 years with our Black Lab, Nigel, I never thought I would get another dog after he passed away, let alone a small one. My kids begged me for a puppy for about a year and when friends of ours had a litter (sire and dam both theirs) we went to see them. It took all of about 30 seconds for me to fall head over heels in love! Bella came home with us and has been my baby girl since day one.

Bio:
She's still a pup so she's learning each and every day! Update: 12/31/07 Bella is now almost 8 months old and her baby sister Chloe has come to join the family. :-)

It's been a long time...

Bella has grown so quickly and is very well behaved and loved. She made out fine with her cherry eye surgery and is beautiful as ever. She loves to snuggle with us on the couch and lay in the sun. On Christmas Day, 2007 her new baby sister Chloe Rae came home to live with us. (Yes... they are biological sisters from different litters. ) Bella and Chloe are doing a lot of wrestling and puppy play to see who will be Top Dog (after me of course!) so there's lot's of rough housing but there's lots of cuddling too. They already won't let each other out of their site and sleep together at night. :-)


Cherry Eye and Good Vibes Needed.

My little princess has got a condition called Cherry Eye http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherry_eye right now and is being treated with antibiotic/steriod ointment. We're hoping that the treatment works and that she can avoid surgery. She's such a baby and I'd hate see her go through that.

Please send all good vibes our way as she can use it. She's been like this since Friday 7/13 and it popped back in for awhile but has been protruding now since Saturday 7/14. We've been to the vet twice and hoping for the best.
