Mom was reading through my diary entries and realized she has the year of my birth wrong!!!! BOL! I was born in 2007 not 2006. I will be 2 years old on my next birthday. Silly Momma!
Aw - what fun. My pal Lily has tagged me & here is what I'm supposed to do:

1. I can eat food off of a fork like a perfect little lady.
2. I will swallow my doggy food in one gulp, but will take my time chewing a peanut.
3. I won the wet t-shirt contest at Woofstock this past summer.
4. I love to work. & will sometimes bug mom by being whiny and needy until she & I work on some obedience or tricks.
5. The way to my heart is through cheese.
6. I try so hard to talk to my humans sometimes. I make the pitch of my voice match theirs. One of these days....
7. I go to work with my Dad at least once a week & am a perfect little store dog.

On this day, Jan. 5, 2006, Sara the stray had puppies. She had wandered into Mom's friend's life a short time before. It is lucky that she did. If not, I may have never met my human mom and dad or my boy.
It's been a good year I think, and Mom thinks so too. I've learned a lot, played A LOT, slept some, ate well & am growing into a very fine dog. Least, that's what Mom & Dad say.
Last night, Mom was up very late making some good smelling stuff in the kitchen. Keep in mind that Mom and Dad don't eat meat. The holidays were pretty anti-climatic for this little pup! I took some ribbing at the dog park. After all - a Thanksgiving without turkey! Geez! But last night, the most wonderful smells were coming from the kitchen - BACON!!!!! Mom was cooking bacon! She only gave me a little bit But it was deeelicious!
Today, Mom told me that I would be going to work with her. I thought that was o.k. as long as the day was not too long. Well - soon after we got there my brother, Koda, showed up! I had not seen him since I was a very very small pup! It was so good to see him! We ran and played in the courtyard. & then Rascal came! Then I kind of knew something was up. 2 brothers at one time? Hmmmm. Then Little Man came & it was a Pawty! A Barkday Pawty for us pups. Not everyone could be there - but we had soo much fun. We played and ran & then went inside to visit with the residents. We had a ball catching contest - Rascal won. They made us put on party hats - a small price to pay. Mom had treats for everyone - cupcakes for the residents and treat bags for us pups - ahem. I mean dogs. & Auntie Connie, Rascal's mom, brought doggy cookies and rawhides for everyone!!
What a fun day! & how cool that we all got to meet again in the last place that we saw each other.
