I left 6 years ago today....

I came to the Rainbow Bridge 6 years ago today with my black lab pal Bo. Before we came over, we had lived great full lives but had begun to decline in our advancing years. Our health wasn't what it used to be, our sight was mostly gone, as well as our hearing. We still lived to please our humans, but it took longer to get up to go see them, and sometimes we didn't feel like getting up at all. Oh, the puppy in us was still quite alive, but the body just couldn't follow through. The day came when we looked into our human's eyes and we all knew: it was time to set us free. Sure, it was a sad day but also a glorious one because as soon as we were freed from our earthly body we could run again! And roll in the wonderfully cool grass at the Bridge! And chase butterflies!

As we wait patiently for our humans to join us again, rememer we are your angels. And, don't worry about us, we are better than we have ever been!
