Today is my birthday!

I'm five years old today! Can you imagine?! I'm not having a celebration today, because my mom is sick with a stomach flu. Maybe next week. It will be my turn to go on a special drive with my family, and I'll get presents. I love nutrident bones and blankets. I hope I get some of those.

I still want my very own kitten. One that likes to be with me all day long. My cat brother Apollo only spends a little bit of time with me, then he leaves to be by himself. That makes me angry. Sometimes I try to block him from leaving, but because he's my size, he always takes off whenever he wants.

Hopefully, next year I will get a kitten for a present.

Older & Wiser! I Saw A Snake Sneaking into My Backyard!

The last snake entry I wrote about in my diary described how I walked over a snake in my backyard! I didn't even know it was there, and I almost got bit! Well today I was playing in my backyard, and I found a snake slithering into my backyard!! It was trying to hide behind an old garden statue, but I saw it! I started to bark at it!! My mom thought I was barking at the statue, but no I wasn't!! I was barking at the huge snake that was at least 4 feet long! My mom's guess is that it was a gopher snake, but she isn't certain. Even though the snake was acting very calm, my mom took us into the house ASAP!

Tomorrow is my birthday!! I will be four years old!! I'm getting older & wiser!! (See pix #2 on my webpage for a picture of the snake!)

Retainers Aren't Chew Toys?

Today my human brother dropped his retainer on the floor! Well, it looked like a chew toy to me, so I picked it up in my mouth! Then I ran under the computer desk! I'm very tiny you know, and my brother couldn't reach me. I refused to come out from under the desk. That is when brother got my mom! Well, my mom told me to come out, but I hesitated. I loved that retainer!! My mom called me a second time, and then I finally decided to listen. She gave me a little treat, but it wasn't half as fun as brother's retainer! Those retainers are a lot of fun! I hope someone buys me a retainer for my birthday!

Feeling Better

Today I didn't have to go back to the vet!

I ate a small amount of food today, and it has stayed down! So I seem to be on the mend! Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to eat more! I like feeling better! I even went for a walk with my sister, Tink this afternoon!

Upset Tummy!

I've had a sick stomach since last night, so today I went to the vet. I enjoyed the ride, but not the vet visit! I started to growl when the vet tech was weighing me & taking my temperature. And we all know that meant my mom had to put the muzzle on me. I was not happy the whole visit.

I received a shot to help stop the vomiting, and the vet said I get no food all day!! UGH! I'm not a huge eater, but I do enjoy my meals. So today I'm not happy. My water intake is limited today too.

Tinker Bell, my sister couldn't go for the ride, because my mom thought I was going to make a mess in the car. So Tinker Bell was furious when mom and I left! I told my mom Tinker Bell can have my spot in the car, and I'll gladly stay home, since Tink wanted to go so badly. Mom didn't buy it. Maybe next time Tinker Bell can go in my place.

Well, hopefully tonight will be a better night, and I'll be able to hold my food down tomorrow. If not, I'll be making another trip back to the vet. Ttyl.

My Mom Has a Pet Cam!

My mom just got a new pet cam! Now she knows all of my secrets! My mom never knew that after she leaves the house, I stay awake for about thirty minutes! She thought I fell asleep immediately. One day, I stayed awake for about fifty minutes!! Also if I hear the rain, then I will run and hide under my brother's desk even if there is no thunder! So now even if it is raining, my mom knows I need my thundershirt! I don't cry or bark when my mom is gone, and she hasn't seen me destroy anything; I'm better behaved than she thought I was! BOL. My mom loves watching me on her iPhone, when she is away from home. She always knows exactly what I am doing!

Vaccine Time

I went last weekend to get a vaccine. I was not happy through the whole vet visit. I didn't even like getting weighed! So, my weight is questionable. I weighed in at 5lbs. I wouldn't hold still for them to take my temp either! Come shot time, my mom had to hold me tightly! I was NOT happy. I growled the whole time.

I get reactions to vaccines if I have too many at once, so I only received one vaccine. So sometime soon I will be due to go again. I am not looking forward to it.

Oh, my sister, Tinker Bell Forever, she got to wait in the car with my dad & brother the entire time I was inside with the vet. I will tell you a secret, too. Tinker Bell was crying on the ride over to the vet. She was crying because I sat in the front seat with my mom, and Tinker Bell had to sit in the back seat. She was sitting next to my brother in the back seat, who she loves, but Tink always wants to sit in the front seat or next to my mom in the back seat. Luckily she didn't cry on the ride home.

I'm Having a Visitor at My House!

Tomorrow a new visitor is staying at my house!! It is my human auntie!! Last time she saw me I weighed two pounds!! She kept saying, "I can't believe Halo is real!!" I now weigh six pounds, and I am A LOT longer than I was as a baby!! My auntie is going to be in shock!!

I really liked my auntie the last time she came. I think we will have lots of fun!! My auntie LOVES all animals!! She currently has two cats and two rabbits, and one of the rabbits is even bigger than my sister Tinker Bell forever!! Tink and I will post pictures of the rabbits for you all to see on our pages! Unfortunately her bunnies and cats did not come on the trip, they are at home with a full time babysitter (their dad)!

I Don't Like Nail Trims!

Today my mom trimmed my nails!! I do NOT like nail trims!! They are annoying. Usually my mom trims my nails when I am taking a nap, but today I needed them all trimmed! I wasn't happy, and I let my mom know it. I only love naps and cats!! I guess my mom forgot!!

Thundershirt Update!

Hi, I am continuing to do well with my Thundershirt. It has helped me. Today I ate all of my meals, even though the construction workers were here all day!! Usually I wait until they are gone, and even then sometimes I will refuse to eat. Also, I stopped having the runs, and that is with no rice added to my meals either!

The only disappointment in my behavior today with the Thundershirt was that if I am completely alone in a room (no human or dog family members), I will still hide under my brother's desk. However if my sister Tinker Bell or one of my family members is in the room, then I will come out from underneath it. Before the Thundershirt, I'd wait until my mom entered the room and sat with me.

Overall my mom is glad she bought it for me. Even my dad was shocked during dinner time, when the construction workers were still across the way and dad saw me eat my dinner bowl as soon as mom put it down. Dad said he had never seen that before ever, and it is the truth.
