What fun barking......

Will at the moment Mummy & Daddy are having a new "WOOF" put on to our house.
It is sooooooo noisy that I need to let them know that there after a LOT of strange men here...on MY " woof "

Will the best way to do this is to do the doggie thing..and that is BARKING......non stop......
Barking & barking.....AND Barking....

A couple of times they tell me to be quite, but...HEY is that going to HAPPEN......I DON'T THINK SO......

I need to protect my family ! ! ! ! !

Would you believe that all the other furs are ASLEEP in all this.......

It is not good for Taylor as Mummy is sitting with her as all the noise is making her really shake.........

Will I wiil need to have a break every now and again, BUT I WILL be back at doing my guard duty until they ALL GO.......

WOW do I feel Younger ! ! !

Will it has been over 2 weeks since I started my steriods for my hair problems...
I am starting to have a little hair growth which Mum said was a good start...

Let me tell you I have so much engery now.....will I don't sleep as much...
good thing , as I did not realise HOW much food I was missing out on though the day BOL BOL....

Morning tea, Lunch, Afternoon tea, treats though the day.......

Only the problem is that my " Roids " make me want more food....and of cause Mum has listern to Dogtor Bill and made sure I don't get any EXTRA food.......

Now can you believe that she LISTERNS now ...not to feed me any " special " treats though the day......

Mum & Dad was having morning tea , one of my favourite things...crackers, cheese & cabanossi, OH YEAH ! ! ! and THEY left me in side and I had to watch them though out back room window EAT........did not matter that all the other furs were getting their share......
I have a VERY bad habit of sitting begging for food, and if that did not happen I would start " tapping" them on their leg to say " will here I am, where's mine ! ! " will this time I was tapping on the window...to make them feel BAD...

NOW DID THEY FEEL BAD.....nooooooooooooooooo, they just kept on eating...

BUT.....

When they came in they did give me SOME food......plain boring yoghut, I looked at Mum, and she said if you don't want it, i'll give it to the others...

Lap lap lap lap the tongue went...........and it disappear in no time at all ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Went for a car ride..but not to the beach ! ! !

This morning Mum & Dad said that Taylor and me were going for a car ride....
Will that sounded GREAT just the two of us...NOBODY else.

Mum gave Taylor a brush, then gave me a brush. Then we had our harness and leads on.....Now that was funny as we NEVER have our leads on when we are in the car.

After a short drive...yes... heading towards the beach arrrr.... that look really good then Dad turn a corner and went a little further and then stopped out side the Vets surgery........

Will NOW we knew why they were BOTH REALLY nice to both of us BOL BOL BOL...

I suppose I had to go as I had a few problems .......

Will I have a dry eye and the last few days it was getting worst and got I an infection in it.....so I have to have antibiotic ointment in it...YUCK three times a day.

Then I have this horrible skin allergy....I look like a lion...
So again more medicine...this time my Dogtor Bill is trying steriods on me.....he told mum that they will have to keep an eye on me......
The best part here is that I get my tablet in some butte..... OH YEAH YUMMIE, could go this butter thing always.....

Also trying some natural medicine Flax seed oil....

Then next I have two lumps on me ..one on my tummy and the other near my tail.....good news there...they are only fatty tissue........Just my "botty" won't look so "pretty" now BOL

I also was given a half "pedicure ", I had my toenails trim.
Mum is just terrible at cutting them, she gets worried she might cut them tooo short......will it would not be the first time...sigh..sigh....she tells me it would be sooo much eaiser if I had white nails like Snoopy ! ! ! ! ! ! !

The best news we got was, I might have these problems......

BUT

I don't have ANY arthritis. Mum said that was the best news.....

Had better go as I can see mum on the hunt for my eye, and mouth........

Mum will write in Taylor's diary about her visit....Hers is a little bit sad.....there is nothing " terminal " wrong with her ..........

2010 Neary HERE ! ! ! !

Wow 2010 is Nearly Here......

I can' t believe where this year has gone . So much has happen here..

Tripod has his first birthday..

Mummy & Sally both had knee operations....

Daddy got a new job....at least he works during the day instead of night time...

My human sister Kimberley works at a new Vets Surgery

We got Finch & Baby to join our family...

Mum turned a " special " age....she is not telling what it is .. BOL

Dad turned a " special" age ...he is not telling what it is ..BOL

Kimberley got two new members to her family.......
one Diamond python...named.....Sparkle and a tortoise named....Turtle....they were not wanted by " kind owners " Grrrrrrrrrrrrr Grrrrrrr

I did get rid of my itchy skin..and got fur.... but it came back......but under control

Daisy got very sick but she is still with us.......Thank Doggie....

Oh so many things has happen some good, some not so good, but I am sure this new year is going to be the best ! ! ! !

Not a Very Happy.......for the moment....

MUMMY FORGOT to put my birthday photos up.......
hey to come to think about it she FORGOT to write about it in my Diary......

Will I now have forgiven her, I do REALY love her lots & lots, she gives me LOTS of cuddles and I am ALWAYS sitting on her lap when she is sitting down, plus I am the only one that snuggles up to her at bed time.

My birthday was the 1st November.

That is the date my Mum & Dad gave me as my Special Day.
When I came into the garden nursery where my Mum was working I was only a youngster. When my first owners never came and got me....
I dont know why as I was soooooooooVERY cute
the vet said I was about 5-6 months old, as I still had my " baby " teeth.

I had a little party with Mum & Lara, everbody else were at work ! ! .
I got a pink dolly shape donut. We all had some, it was sooooo nice.
All the furs did not get any of my pink dolly, but Mum gave them some " human " biscuits to share.

Mum did not light my candle, but they sung Happy Birthday to ME ! ! ! ! ! !

WOW I am now 11 years old.......I think I look not to bad for my age. BOL BOL
I still have good hearing & eye sight, but have a bad time with my skin allergy. Mum said it wont get 100%, but she keeps it under control for me. I have had it all my life.

Had better go back to the things that I do best,,,
Sleeping ......
Eating..........
Give cuddles....
and just plain being good ! ! ! ! !

When Tripod came to live with us a lot of people said ..
" Oh no not another YAPPER "

Us little dogs or should I say us "who gravity forgot about "...
seems to get this " title "

I have been know to " express my vocal cords " on some.....oh alright many occasions, but I am good that I DO stop, when I think it is a good time...
Sometimes Mummy thinks it should be a little bit sooner but those cords do have to be used......

All the others stop NEARLY straight away when they are told.....

except Mickey...

You see he has such....a HIGH pitch " vocal cord range " that Mummy & Daddy keeps saying to him...

" MAN VOICE MICKEY, MAN VOICE "...poor soul he just sounds like Tripod and Me....a YAPPER.....

Will this got me thinking he must be a CHI or part there of one......
He is short...like me
Loves to sit on laps......like me
Does not do much during the day.....like me
Hears a little noise and runs to Mummy....like me.......

Will Mummy found this little article about Chi's and thought YES YES YES YES, this is WHY we bark....or sorry, use our " Vocal Cords "

Chinese medicine is based on the principle that the body is

That is why chihuahua bark so much.......

Just a thought ...maybe Tripod has some Chi in him tooooooo ! ! ! ! !

Oh Nooooooo ! ! !

Will I see myself as the Matriarch of my family...so I thought.

Let me explain...

As you all know I have this " painful " little brother...will as he can't jump on the lounge which is good sometimes...I do let him play with me, but when I get tired of him, I just sit back near the back of the lounge and he gets really upset....then what happens ! ! ! our Mum comes and lifts him up and he starts to play again.......there is only SO MUCH playing that I do.....sleeping is soo much better ! ! ! ! !

Will our Lara was playing with us the other day.....dressing up Tripod, and pushing him around the house in the stroller. She tries to get me into the stroller but I just had this really NICE growl at her and she looks at me but I think she knows now that I am only joking, as she still comes to me, plus she give me a "doggie chewie " every time.

Anyway, while Lara was dressing Tripod I saw her looking in my direction....I started to have a worried look .....a REALLY worried look, she just kept looking ...no cuddles, no patting , no giving me doggie treats..........

Then she came over.....smile , BIGGER smile then she sat down next to me...bit of a pat on the head......a chat with me.....tickle tummy, fluf my pillow.....WHAT IS SHE up to....
Then ..................

She took me in her arms.....arrrrrrrrr.....That's nice , a cuddle what was I thinking........how could she do anything to ME ....Zenie.....
What is that ! ! ! ! ! !
No Way are you going to do that to me ! ! ! ! !

OOOOPS........she got it on ...........ME.......

Yep that is right ....Tripods RED HAT......

Oh My Doggieness...at least I did not have to put a dress on....that is kept for Tripod........

I guess it was not that bad....playing is the best with My Lara.....

and another vet visit....

Since Mummy wrote my last diary I have been to the vets a few more times for check ups on my eye and about my fur growing back.

My eye is getting " wetter " but wont be into full tear production, but enough for it to be not sore or itchy any more. I still have to have ointment put in 3 times a day but if it helps then I will be brave and let Mummy do it for me.

I still have to take my antibiotic three times a day, at least until April next year.! ! ! Dr Peter said it will take that long for my fur and skin to get all better, then I wont look like a lion ! !

Mummy thinks she is clever as puts my tablet in some cheese, but I can smell it..she has tried lots of other food, but nothing works, so she has to put it into my mouth, the only problem a few times her finger kinda gets in the way and my teeth and they " falls " on them. She could put the tablet into some lollies but she tells me something about to much sugar not good for doggies.......

Another Vet visit ! !

Will Mummy & Daddy took me to the vets again yesterday.
My good eye is good, but my bad eye is getting a little better but it still has along way to go.......BUT
now I have to have two different ointiments put in, which is not much fun, but if it makes my eye more " wet " then I suppose I will have to put up with it.
AS for my fur, I have some patches on my back that the vet saw that has SOME fur on it, so I suppose that will take time also.

I have to go back in another 2 weeks for another check......I can think of better things to do with my time, but if it is going to help me then I will just have to go.........PLUS when I go I get some yummie treats for being a good girl....PLUS I get to ride in the front of the car with Daddy......so it cant be that bad.......! ! !
