Arrival Story: my friend came to me and said her boyfriend needed a home for a baby boxer.
because he had lost his house and could not take care of him any more.
ofcourse i didn't think twice....
a boxer,for free!
so that was that.
i took him in.
but on the second day in my house he was attackt by a other dog.
the dog had bite him in his head.
my other dog,misty,took over and attackt the other dog,to protect bull-boy.
but it was too late.
it was a terrible bite wound.
ofcourse we went to the dokter.
but he got sick.
the wound got infected and none of the medications the docter gave ,helpt him.
two weeks after the attack,i found bull on the grount.
it was terrible.
the infection had reached his brains.
he was in shock.
and pus came out of his eyes and wound.
i was crying so hard.
it took 6 months for him to recover.
many time's i almost lost him.
he had to take awful and painfull treatments,but not once did he growl or showed his teeth.
and he was always waggling his tale too the docter.
on new years day a piece of scul came out of his wound.
it had been loose sinds the attack and that was what cousing tha infection.
no he's all better.
my baby boy.
he's so special too me.
such a joy too be arount him
he's a good boy.
Bio: i was one sick puppy.
my brains were infected because of a bite wount.
but i always stayed sweet and nice.
there's not a nasty bone in me.
there were time's my mom slept in one bed with me and she would hold me tight because she did not know if i would awake the next morning.
but here i am.
wow i'm good!
god took my boy away at the age of two years.
i love you my little slobberwobberbutt.

His mommy Shannon appeared before court the 29th of june.
A bully rescue had a spot for bruce and all the paperwork was arranged.
It was up to the judge to decide if Bruce would be allowed to go to
the rescue to be saved out his horrible conditions from the shelter(deathrow)
he's been living in for to to long.
Misty sit's and whipes a tear away with her paw.
The judge will not allow Bruce to go to the bully rescue.
he decited that Bruce will be put down this next Monday.....

Bruce’s fate still undetermined
Bruce, a dog seized in Northern Ireland as being of the Pit Bull type, is still awaiting the appeal on his death
sentence.
The case was originally heard at Bangor Magistrates Court on 27th August, where Dr Mugford gave
evidence stating that Bruce was merely a friendly Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Unfortunately the Magistrates’ concluded that Bruce was of the type and ordered his destruction.
However, Bruce’s owner is appealing this decision and following a brief hearing on the 12th November,
the case has been listed for mention on 12th January 2009 at which time a date for the appeal will be fixed.
Sadly for Bruce this means he’ll be spending more months incarcerated in kennels.

REMEMBER he did NOTHING wong,did not growl,attacked or biten anyone.
he will be killed just because he is a pit.
i contacted my bruce contact and this is what she emailed me.
Dear Nathalie,
Yes, Bruce is still in danger--his owner cannot obtain insurance for him and so she is urgently looking for a
rescue for him and has only got until the 29th of June or he will be put down!
This is so frightening--after all he and his family have been through.
If you can help Shannon to find somewhere safe for Bruce to live and be loved, that would be wonderful.

I live in Wisconsin, US so don't have any contacts that could help in southern Ireland--
but the sooner he is moved to safety the better.

i have contact with a friend of bruce his owner and i'm waiting to be contacted by bruce his owner herself.
please we can't let this happen!
